Down in the valley of the kings and queens

A girl filled her pockets with big copper coins

She went to the woods, a plan in her mind

And she went to the hill with the butterflies

She said to the air, "I want to be free.

I have this life and a family,

and I have all I could dream of

yet at night I stay awake

and I look at the sky

and I think to myself

that I want to be free."

So the girl spoke her words

And left a coin on the hill

As soon as she left, she was stopped by blue,

a tiny thing with fluttering wings

It sat on her arm and it whispered to her

"Go forward," it said. "No way to go but to change."

She looked at the thing, this tiny thing

And she nodded her head

And she made up her mind
