Chap 3: Unknown Number

Jeno's POV

I returned from my shower and plopped down onto my bed to go to bed despite it still being early and me having a shitload of homework to complete by tomorrow. None of seemed important and the idea of dropping out was on my mind since the day I stepped into this place.

Maybe it was time to actually do it.

But, I soon brushed that thought off and sat up to dry my hair with the towel, and my eyes fell onto the blinking notification light of my phone on the nightstand.

I unlocked my phone and was surprised to see a message from an unknown number. Once I saw the messages, Renjun saying something about changing his number came back to my memory.

I was about to place my phone back onto the nightstand to go to sleep when the notification bell interrupted me halfway.

I stared at the conversation and wondered how he suddenly seemed so much more gentle and caring than normal.

It didn't seem like Renjun to say all that.

But, I chose to ignore the little voice in my head that was making me doubt it and laid down to sleep since that was my original plan anyways.
