Not So New Year

It was a new year and I was just hoping it would be better than the last. So much had happened in the year prior. I just wanted the new year to be better. I wasn't sure it would be, though. It was most likely going to be the same as every other year. I would make resolutions that I wouldn't follow, I would go back to school and try to learn something they weren't going to teach me. Nothing would change. Nothing would be better.
