Serendipity

Jimin felt warm and fuzzy, nothing could touch him at this moment. He felt soft and the sky was a beautiful gold from the setting sun. Jimin looked to his side to see his gorgeous lover, staring off into the sunset with eyes of adoration. Jimin admired him for what felt only like a few seconds but in reality, was quite a few minutes. When his lover returned his gaze, Jimin gave him a warm smile. The other returned it whole-heartedly. Jimin and the other both turned back to watch the final rays of sunlight fade away, not to be seen for many hours. In the beautiful darkness they found comfort in each other's arms. Basking in the others embrace, fearing that by morning the other would disappear.

Jimin and his lover stayed like hat for a long time, and they had nestled up to one another and fallen asleep. When Jimin woke up, the moon was at its height, illuminating everything with pale moonlight. Giving off an eery feel that left Jimin unsettled. Jimin turned to see his lover, but the other was already looking at him. But Jimin was paralyzed in fear as he saw his significant other fading away like the sunset they'd watched together.

"Yoongi please don't go!"
"I need you, please, please don't go!"
"I love you!"

Jimin was shocked awake, tears streaming down his face. He sobbed until he couldn't sob anymore. After a moment, he looked to his side, a slight hope growing within that maybe Yoongi had been found and had fallen asleep next to him. His hope was shattered though when he reached out and only felt cold sheets within his grasp. Jimin curled into a ball, willing himself back to sleep. He didn't want to deal with any more devastation to his heart.
