"Did I hear wedding bells, Lars?" The doctor asked me.

Nangiti ako at sumulyap sa singsing ko. I lifted it and showed it to her before smiling.

"Soon," I winked. "Nagsisimula na kaming magplano."

"Great! When will you tell him about your baby?" She asked me.

I froze for a while but smiled and softly caressed my flat stomach.

"Later?" I shrugged. "Maybe on our anniversary? Tonight?" I answered.

"You better tell that to him early, sigurado akong matutuwa ang boyfriend mo." Aniya. I giggled and nodded, hinawi ko ang aking buhok at ngumiti.

"I bet he is," I said excitedly.

"Atsaka mas mabuting malaman na rin nya at maalagaan ka, medyo maselan ang pagbubuntis mo kaya kailangan mo ng sapat na atensyon." Aniya. I nodded and spoke.

"I can do this," Sagot ko. "Our first angel is a fighter, I know he is."

"Congratulations again on your pregnancy, Lars." She smiled.

"Thank you, Dra." I said sincerely. "I didn't expect this but I am really really happy!"

"Every baby is a blessing, Lars!" She cheered. "Goodluck sa dinner nyo mamaya, huh? Balitaan mo ako sa reaksyon ng boyfriend mo."

"I will," Sabi ko bago nagpaalam paalis.

Sobrang saya ko habang naghahanap ng damit sa closet ko para sa dinner namin mamayang gabi. It was our anniversary tonight! Sobrang naeexcite na ako sa sasabihing buntis ako mamaya!

We haven't plan about a child yet God gave us one. I've never been this excited!

Wearing a body hugging black, sleeveless dress and two inches stilletos, I feel so satisfied. I put my hair on my shoulder and put a light make up on my face.

Binuksan ko ang pouch ko para silipin ang relong binili ko para iregalo sa kanya at nang masigurong naroon na ay mabilis akong lumabas ng apartment ko at kinuha ang phone ko.

I dialled my boyfriend's number but I didn't got an answer so I sighed. Ilang araw na kaming walang komunikasyon.

Since he went to his convention abroad ay hindi na kami nagkausap na muli. Just earlier, I received a message from him saying we'll eat at our favorite restaurant at naalala kong anniversary namin kaya nae-excite ako.

Just this morning, I realized I've been vommiting and missed my period so I went to my ob-gyne friend and have myself check and surprisingly, I am two months pregnant!

Sumakay ako sa kotse at nagmaneho patungo sa restaurant kung saan kami magde-dinner, sinubukan kong tawagan muli ang numero nya pero hindi sya sumagot so I stopped myself from calling.

Baka busy, magkikita naman kami e.

I went out of the car the moment I reached the resto. Pahakbang na ako palabas ng kotse nang mapatili ako sa gulat sa biglang pagsulpot ng kulay itim na pusa sa harapan ko.

My forehead creased, napailing ako at sinundan ng tingin ang pusa at pumasok sa loob ng restaurant.

The front desk recognized me the moment I entered. A smile was plastered on her face when she saw me.

"Ma'am!" Bati nya.

"Hi, Mandy!" I smiled.

"Naku, Ma'am Polaris, bumu-blooming, huh?" Biro nya. I chuckled, nag-init ang pisngi ko pero umiling ako at nagsalita.
