My heart is thumping at the mere sight of her but I shoudn't be scared.

"You're here," Tanging nasabi ko. I took a glance at the mirror infront of me again and fixed my hair, not minding her at all, well, I'm trying not to.

"You think you can escape from me like that?" Mapang-uyam n'yang sabi.

"Not at all," I shrugged. "I know you'd come back for us, nagulat lang ako na ngayon na pala."

I saw how irritation filled her face when she saw my relaxed expression. Ipinapakita ko lang iyon pero kinakabahan ako, hindi para sa akin, kundi para sa anak ko.

"We're alone here, akala mo makakatakas ka ng ganun na lang?" She spatted, annoyed of me.

I took a glance at her and saw her pale face, pula man ang kanyang labi ay napansin ko ang pagpayat n'ya.

"You're thin," Pansin ko sa kanya. "Maybe you got tired of hiding from the law kaya lumabas ka na."

"How dare you?" Her voice was sharp, galit na galit ang kanyang boses.

Hinarap ko s'ya, I stood straight looking at her, my chin is up.

"How dare me?" I laughed. "No, how dare you! How dare you show your face and threaten me after what you did, huh?"

"You stole Caspian from me!" Galit n'yang sabi. "You stole everything from me! Our money in the company! My boyfriend! You stole him from me, you wench!"

"I did?" Gulat kong sabi bago tumaas ang sulok ng labi. "First, you framed my father in stealing your company's money and when he was proven innocent, ako ang pinunterya mo. You said I stole Caspian, no, 'cause he was mine in the first place."

"Damn you! Liar! You stole him from me!" Giit n'ya. I saw her sharp glares, nakapirmi ang labi n'ya at kita ko ang kuyom ng kamay n'ya.

"You were the first to cheat in the first place. You cheated with your driver right, Cheska? You think you can blame Caspian for leaving you kung ikaw ang nagloko?" I spatted. "And Claude, you probably asked him to do that, huh?"

"Claude likes you! Bakit hindi nalang kayo?!" She's hysterical. "I won't mind if you two would end up! Just give me Caspian back! You stole him from me!"

"Pity," I looked at her. "Hindi mo pwedeng ipilit nalang ang mga bagay na hindi talaga para sa'yo."

"How dare you?!" She walked towards me, lifted her hand and was about to slap me when I took it.

Mabilis kong hinawakan ang kamay n'ya, my hand raised in the air and without further ado, it met her face.

"Shit!" Napasinghap s'ya sa ginawa ko. She eyed me, her black eyes stared me like she despise me a lot. "How dare you slapped me?!" Sigaw n'ya.

She attempted to slap me back but I moved away kaya hindi n'ya ako natamaan.

"Because of you... Nawala ang anak ko." I murmured, in pain. "Because of you, hindi natuloy ang pamilyang pinlano ko! Because of you everything is ruined!"

"Caspian is mine!" She screamed, bigla n'ya akong dinamba at hindi na ako nakalaban sa biglaan n'yang paghila sa buhok ko.

I gasped, she slammed me on the sink and pulled my hair.

"Mang-aagaw ka!" Sigaw n'ya. I managed to pulled her hair back, hindi ako nagpatalo. I scratched her arm when she attempted to hurt me.

Isang sigaw ang pinakawalan n'ya at napasinghap ako sa gulat nang sipain n'ya ang paa ko kaya nawalan ako ng balanse.
