Chapter 6 (Rescue)

                                                 Kc pov

I close my eyes as i sit indian style with my sword in my lap why did i even agree to do that in the first place i thought as i closed my eyes and slowed my breathing i am no hero i thought i am an assassin a warrior nothing more i thought sigh i open my eyes to see Batman Black Canary and Green Arrow i stand up "what can i do for you three" i said as i tied my katana to my belt "were taking you back" Batman said "for what purpose" i said "I belong here not with teenage heroes" i said blankly "how bout we make a deal with you" Green Arrow said i arch my brow "what kind of deal" I asked "you spend three months with them and us if you don't like it there by the end of your time we'll try to convince your GrandFather and Mother about rejoin the League" Batman said  i thought about it for a second "fine deal" i said shaking his hand  and we walk to the ship I'm sitting on the ship when robin contacts Batman through the com "Batman!" "what is it robin" Batman said "Artemis, super boy and kid Flash are trying to take down Bane but there is another problem!" "what" Batman said  "Nightwing stuck in the middle of a frozen lake and injured" he said "okay we'll send back up" he said "Batman out" he said "alright team" he said  "no" i said "I'll go" i said standing up they looked at me in shock "I'll be fine" i said they all nodded they drop me off not far i come to a clearing Bane about to take down Robin who is the only one left standing he had him by the throat choking him i run up to them as fast as i could jump kicking him in the face making him drop Robin "do you have know honor" i said pulling out my Katana laying Robin out of the way of our fight Robin looked at me in shock "hahah Honor" Bane laughed "look little ninja" he said in a Spanish accent "I take down who ever gets in my way" he said "then you are the start of a plague and need to be purified" i said he looked at me confused he puts both of his hands together to form a giant fist and tries to smash me but i jump out of the way landing on one of his arms i run up his arm and cut the wires connected to the back of his head causing him to scream falling to the ground passing out are "you okay" i asked robin he nodded "where is Nightwing" i said in a blank calm voice he pointed i nodded "I'll go get him you try to wake everyone" he nodded i see him in the middle of a frozen lake i tip toe softly on the frozen lake reminds me of my training i thought i finally get to him "hey" i snapped my fingers in front of his face "ugh" he grunted "Shadow!" Robin and the others shout "come on fearless leader wake up" i said slapping him on the cheek then his eyes slowly open "Shadow" he whispered "morning pretty boy" i said "Robin, Artemis i need you to shoot a grapple or arrow with rope over to me" i said they nodded "I got it" Artemis said shooting at me i caught it easily they looked at me shocked i tie it around his waist i see the ice start to crack "okay now slowly pull him" i said to them they nodded i feel it cracking "easy" i said they nodded pulling slowly they see the ice breaking he's half way there when i see the ice beginning to crack under my feet i look up at everyone get Nightwing to land he stands up just as Artemis was about to shoot CRACK!! i look at my feet then look at them SPLASH!!! i went under NO!!! i hear someone yell 

                                                    Third person pov

just after they Got Nightwing to land he got to his feet "you okay buddy" Kid Flash asked "yeah what the hell happened" Nightwing asked "she saved you and us" Robin said pointing at shadow still on the lake just as Artemis was about to shoot another arrow at her "CRACK!!" they all look at her then she falls through the ice "SPLASH!!!" "NO!!!" Nightwing yelled he went to run onto the ice but was stopped by Kid Flash "dude you can! you'll fall through!" he said "but she drowning!" Nightwing yelled "we'll drown if we go out there!" Artemis yelled they wait by anxiously then Batman Canary and Green arrow show up "where is Shadow" batman asked the then all the teens start yelling and talking at the same time "Enough!" he yelled "where" he said they pointed to the hole in the ice all there eyes got big then they hear BOOOOM!! and look to see

                                        Kc pov

I knew this would come in handy one day i thought grabbing a water proof bomb i swim as close as i can get to the edge so i won't fall in again as i get out and place it on the ice set the timer swim away from it "BOOOM!!" it breaks the ice leaving a big hole i swim up and gasp for air crawling out of the water and onto land falling on my back completely drained of energy huffing and puffing trying to catch my breath closing my eyes then i hear foot steps "Shadow!!" i slowly open my eyes to see the team there and Batman Canary and Arrow there i lay my head back on the ground then i feel myself being lifted up 

                                         Nightwing pov

im panicking then we hear a loud "BOOOM!!" on the other side of the lake so we all run towards it and we see Shadow laying on the ground trying to catch her breath soaked to the bone her eyes closed "Shadow!!" i yelled running faster towards her with everyone tailing behind me I'm right next to her i see her lift her head slightly then he head falls back down to the ground "we need to get her to the Med Bay now!" Batman said i nodded picking her up bridal style she leaves then saves my life i thought what changed her mind i thought we get back to the cave i pass all the others running to the Med Bay with Shadow in my arms she's freezing i thought we hook her up to wires "Vitals are dropping" Canary said "temperature is dropping get blankets heaters whatever you can to get her warmed up!!" she said we all nodded and rushed out the room oh i hope she's okay
