chapter 12 (My Demons)

i can't recall what happened a few weeks ago all i remember is darkness i remember the league of assassins the justice league the young justice then nothing how did i end up like this i feel like a walking zombie and every time i sleep i have nightmares I'm on top of wayne tech what happened to me i thought as i looked out at the city still in the black lace dress bare foot and my mask and sword 

                                  Damian pov

im not giving up looking for her this is for me to take care of she's my beloved and needs help even if she doesn't realize it she's not in her right mind I've seen first hand what the pit does to people i am going to help her Todd has been through it also so he can help also it was me Artemis and Red hood after every scene she leaves a message even if she's not aware of it or not i thought "Hood you've been in the pit what were you like" Artemis said "truthfully i had no idea what was going on how I ended there and who i was my head was clouded and most of all the blood lust" he said she nodded sadly "don't worry we will find her" i said we were walking listening watching superboy and the rest said they didn't find anything we were about to call it a night until i saw something on top of wayne tech "you two see that right" Artemis said we both nodded and made our way to the top "Shadow" i said she turned around still in the clothing she was buried tore up a bit and  her eyes dull she reached for her sword "Shadow listen to me" i said putting my hands up i hear Todd calling the rest of them "i now nothing is making sense but you need to listen to me" i said she pulled her sword out i pulled mine out she's still suffering the effects i thought our swords clashed our faces close "Kc its me" i said to her "its Dami" i whispered i see a flicker of light in her eyes but then they go dull again i see the rest of the league and young justice arrive "you need to concentrate" i said "i know the things you've done you didn't mean for it to happen" i said "let us help you we've known each other since we were kids remember" i said her eyes flickered again she pushed off my sword with hers making me stumble back but then regaining my footing "you need to concentrate remember" i said she charged at me again our swords clashing i see the rest of them about to step in i shook my head no "you need to let me help you" i said throwing my sword to the ground "I'm not going to fight you" i said it made a metallic sound on the ground she looked at the sword "can't.."she said in a raspy voice we all looked at her "can't" she said again putting her sword away "can't?" i asked "can't....remember....happened" she said not being able to talk right i looked at Todd he nodded saying he was the same way "it's okay" i said putting my hands up "see all of us" i motioned to everyone "we are here to help" i said i took a step towards her she backed up shaking her head no" i can only hep you if you let me" i said she looked at me hesitantly "come on beloved lets go home" i said her eyes got wide "Dami" she said my eyes got wide right then and there i knew she knew we ran to each other i eloped her in my arms falling to our knees "my head is fuzzy" she whispered "i i can't remember" she said "shh i know beloved i know" i looked at father and nodded he nodded back instructing everyone to go back so it's just me him Todd and her i can feel that her breathing has finally calmed down "come on lets get you back to the cave" i said "and out of that" she nodded we go through the tube recognized robin recognized red hood recognized batman recognized shadow "come on" i said taking her to her room letting her change 

                                        Third person pov

they get the call from red hood that they found her the league and young justice make it to the top of wayne tech seeing Shadow in the dress she was buried in and bare foot with her sword everyone stared in disbelief Artemis whispered it's her to them all then they looked back at her fighting Robin Nightwing whispered Shadow they all stood in disbelief they never seen her like this before batman told them to go back to the cave and they did "what the hell happened to her!" Superboy said they all shrugged wondering the same thing "the pit" Canary said "the Lazarus pit" she said "Ra's resurrected her" she said "it plays with your mind" she said "so thats why none of us can recognize her" she said "she's going to need our help" she said everyone nods then they see Robin Shadow Batman and red hood walk in Robin guided her to her room she just keeps her head down "how is she" Arrow asked as batman walked in "she's in shock" he said "i think she doesn't even know she died" he said everyones eyes got wide "but we to get her mind straight first" Batman said everyone nodded "she's going to need time" Batman said everyone nodded 

                                             Kc pov

Dami brought me back from the darkness of my mind i thought as the water from the shower ran down my back as i had my forehead pressed against the wall of the shower but i still don't feel myself i feel this darkness looming over me what am i going to do I've done things terrible things then there is the night terrors i thought i take a deep breath and finish showering i put some of the clothes on that Robin laid out for me dark jeans a grey tee shirt and sneakers i braided my hair to the side my mind still fuzzy i walk into my room and see Dami sitting on my bed he smiled at me "how are you feeling" he asked "better i think" i said he arched his brow he got up and hugged me" I'm so sorry this happened" he said i hugged him back and started to cry gripping the back of his cape i can't remember what happened i said and "it terrifies me" i said he hugged me tighter "shh i know" he said rubbing my back i feel my eyelids become heavy then darkness 

                                  Damian pov

i watched as she fell asleep in my arms as we hugged she must be exhausted i walked out into the main room how is she Red hood asked resting i said crossing my arms sitting on the couch what am i going to do i thought Hood I'm going to need your help i said he looked at me your the only one who has gone through this i said he nodded we'll pick this up in the morning i said leaving
