Chapter 16

                                                                          Kc pov

its been weeks since I've slept weeks since I've touched my Katana i can't sleep at night I've been seeing all of the things I've done i see fire the death pits of hell the smoke from the fire choking me barley able to breath then i wake up covered in sweat i mean it's not like there is a manual coming back from the dead 101 but this is taking it toll on me i thought as i sat in my chair at my desk looking at the ceiling letting out a deep breath i really hate to admit this but I'm afraid to get back in the game what if i kill someone again i thought I've killed so many people i thought in cold blood i let out a deep breath looking at the clock 3:30AM everyone is asleep right now i leave my room grabbing a water from the kitchen then leaving to go to the top of the mountain i sit indian style with my hands on my knees i know everyone is worried but they have other things to worry about other than me i close my eyes then see a flash of me covered in blood my eyes shoot open and i see "Damian" i said he was about to enter the cave  at the bottom but he heard me and looked up hello beloved he said smiling i finally get down to him "what are you doing here" i asked "better question is what are you doing up at this hour" he asked "thought i would meditate" i said shrugging 

                                        Time Skip 

me and Damian walked the beach "so not that I'm not happy to see you love but what are you doing here" i asked he smirked "I could tell something was bothering you beloved" he said " and the circles under your eyes prove it" he said "tell me what's happening" he asked we sat down on a rock near the ocean i held my knees close to me "I've done terrible things Damian i killed so many people i know that" i said "but when i almost...you" i said "what if..." i trailed off he cupped my cheeks "listen to me beloved you didn't i was able to bring you back from the darkness" he said "but i could have killed you too like all those people i have" i said "but i stopped you i brought you back from the dark corner of your mind" he said "and i'll do it again every time" he said i smiled sadly at him "and every time i close my eyes i..." i trailed off "what is it" he asked "just the nightmares they feel so real" i said looking at him "I know beloved" he said holding me into a hug 

                                                     Batman bov 

i watched as Kc and Damian walk the beach talking i can see her facial expressions change i can tell that they are talking about a serious matter "kid has you that worried huh" i look to see Arrow and Canary i nodded "i can tell somethings going on haven't seen her training at all or sleeping" i said crossing my arms "that is concerning" Canary said i nodded 

                                                      Damian pov

i knew something was going on the day i talked to her on the communicator but now that I'm in front of her i am truly concerned after she told me everything i hugged her my chin resting on top of her head "how about i help you beloved" i said "how" she mumbled clearly tired "first lets get you to sleep" i said "I'll stay with you" i said getting up guiding her back to the cave"

                                      Kc pov

we laid on my bed talking my head on his chest i felt my eyes becoming heavy as he petted my head "its okay beloved i'll be here" he said then darkness took me

ill be here for you for as long as it take beloved no matter what i said as i watched her fall asleep letting darkness take me as well
