Chapter 14 (Miss you already)

"are you sure beloved i could stay a few more weeks" Damian said as we were standing on the beach "go" i said smiling at him "the Titans need you" i said "i'll be fine and i know how to reach you if i do need anything" i said "okay" he said smiling at me kissing me "just if you need anything i'll be here as fast as i can beloved" i nodded "i know love" i said he kissed me one more time then leaving i watched as he walked as he got further and further away then when he was gone i still stood there i'll be fine i thought i have to be in order to survive this i thought as i walked back to the cave Recognized Shadow the voice said it was late so most people were in bed or at home except for me i walk to my room which is across from Superboy's i lay in bed tossing and turning unable to sleep i sit up and see the clock 3AM i walk out of my room grabbing my sword on the way out i grab a water from the fridge and make my way to the top of the mountain i set up some targets and fake mannequins i take a deep breath come on Shadow you can do this i said you can do this i pull out my sword and daggers relax breathe i said i throw my daggers and they hit the target right at the bullseye i pull out my sword jumping from tree to tree then cutting the mannequins in half my mind finally clear for the first time in a while i let out a breath of relief feel better i look behind me to see Batman i nodded why are you out here at this hour he said i should be asking you the same thing i said putting my sword away 

"i could use your help on something" Batman said i nodded "Scarecrow he's been experimenting  on teenagers and flooding fear gas in different facilities but we can't seem to track him down" Batman said "i would like you to try and find his location" he said i nodded "get me to a computer and I'll do my best" i said  "we already set one up in your room" he said i nodded "thank you" i said walking off to my room turning on my computer to get to work it's been a whole day I've been cooped up in my room typing away at my computer trying to find some leads on Scarecrow then i hear my door open i look to see Nightwing "so this is where you've been" he said i nodded still typing "what are you doing" he asked "trying to find a lead for batman" i said through my mask of my suit "anything" he asked  "i think i might have a lead but it might just be a trap" i said he nodded "tell me where" he said "the docks" i said he nodded "I'll have Red Hood and Red Robin check it out" he said i nodded 

i miss Damian already i thought then the communicator he gave me went off i opened it and it showed his face "hello Beloved" he said "hello love" i said smiling at him "how are you" he asked "I'm fine" i said "you just left and are checking up on me"i said raising a brow "n-no" he said "I'm just worried" he said "i told you I'm fine" i said smiling at him "yeah but you're always like that you say your fine but deep down your suffering remember that time you got hurt training and didn't say anything" he said i chuckled "i forget how well you know me love" i said to him "well i have to be beloved since I'm deeply in love with you" he said i could feel myself turn red he pauses for a minute then raises his brow "what are you doing" he asked "tracking down a lead for Batman" i said he smirked "i can see your back to your old self" he said i smirked "i did have a little help" i said in a flirty voice i see him turn red "oh please stop!" i heard someone yell in the background  i see in the back round "hey Garfield" i said "is that Shadow!" i heard blue beetle yell "well I'm going to hang up now beloved but get some sleep okay" he said "you look tired" i nodded "i will love" i said then he hung up i leaned back in my chair looking at the ceiling i feel my eyes slowly shut but as soon as they do i see blood i jump awake to see Superboy there "hey" i said "hey" he said smiling at me "so love" he said i felt myself turn red i clear my throat "so...umm uh tell batman that Nightwing sent red hood and red robin on a possible lead" i said he nodded leaving
