Chapter 10 (this isn't goodbye)

Kc pov

i can't control my own body i go after Artemis first she blocks my sword with her bow "Shadow snap out of it!" she yelled "she couldn't even if she Tried" Deathstroke said my body moving on its own my mind is telling me one thing but my body is doing the opposite i hook my leg under hers she falls to the ground hard just as i was about to finish her Nightwing tackled me i was crouched he was crouched opposite of me "you need to fight it!" Nightwing said "didn't you hear me she can't she is in my control" Deathstroke said i see Kidflash talking on the com i have my sword tight in my hands fighting Nightwing and Artemis at the same time this is bad my training used against me next thing i know a batarang hits me in the face i look to see Batman Green Arrow Black Canary this is really not good "take them" Deathstroke said with sword in hand i charge them dogging and deflecting trying to stay out of the way of my blade i kick Green Arrow from behind me sending him flying through so weak walls "get out of here now!" i heard Batman say to the others i right hook batman sending him to the floor Canary uses her screech sending me flying through a wall i get up instantly even though I'm hurt my body just keeps doing as Deathstroke wants "Okay Shadow that's enough lets take our leave "Deathstorke said with all the heroes down me and Deathstroke leave

Batman pov

after everyone got back to the cave "mind telling me what happened out there before we showed up" i asked them they all started yelling and talking at the same time "Enough! one at a time" i said the whole league is here including Damian i need his help this time Nightwing stepped up "we entered the building and Deathstroke showed up acting like he knew Shadow" he said then Damian speaks up "that's because they do" he said we all looked at him in shock "Deathstroke killed Shadow's real parents" Damian said as he crossed his arms "and Shadow and me were the reason he was banished from the League" he said i can see the shock on everyone's face "how could you let this happen" Damian said glaring at me and the team that was out with her "Deathstroke is gonna use her to do all his biding now" Damian said "until we get that collar off of her she is a threat" he said he sighed leaving "Robin" i said "I'm going to find her" he said leaving "kid does have a point she defeated all of us" Green Arrow said i sighed looking at Nightwing and the rest "go get some rest" i said leaving the cave to help Damian search for her the thing is when we fought her her eyes were dull she's not herself i thought

Kc pov

i walk along side Deathstroke to is layer he sits down i just stand next to him i can feel the needles in my neck from the collar "so what do you think Shadow" he said looking at me "pretty incredible how one little device can make you do things against your will" he said taking off his mask "go ahead state your opinion" he said "your scum" i said "and when i figure out to resist you are going to regret it" i said to him blankly he smirked at me "good luck with that" he said then his phone rang then smiled hanging up "looks like you've got a job to do" he said "go to star labs and get this chip" he showed it on the screen i walked out "wait" he said giving me a com in my ear "now go" he said then i left walking out

Time skip

I'm on the roof of star labs going through the vent through the safe grabbing the chip i don't want to do this but my body won't let me control it i squeeze my eyes shut trying to but it won't work "good job Shadow now get out of there" he said i get to the roof running roof to roof until a baterang explodes at my feet sending me flying backwards i stand up right away i see Batman and Dami there "Shadow you need to stand down" Batman said "take them down then get back here" Slade said i slowly pulled out my sword rushing at them using my sword to clash with Dami as i kicked behind me kicking Batman hearing him fall "Beloved you need to concentrate" he said "i know its harder said than done but concentrate" he said then out of no where Slade shows up "she can't even if she tried" he said "kill him" he said i had Damian on the ground my sword at his throat my hands shake "what are you waiting for Shadow" he said "No" i whispered "i will not let you use me for this" i said taking my sword pointing it at me plunging it into me "NO!!" i heard Damian say as he caught me he pulled the collar off of me "I-I'm sorry..love" i said as I'm in his arms "shh" he said "I-I wasn't...strong enough" i said "shh Beloved save your strength" he said i see the people I've grown to know show up i reach my bloody hand up to his cheek "i guess it's too late to say i love you" i said then darkness

i look around i look up and see the sun shining through the leaves

i look down I'm in a white lace dress

i walk out to a beautiful meadow

i feel at peace here where am i its so peaceful here i thought as i stand there i close my eyes

Third person pov

the league set a hologram of shadow with the other fallen in the cave everyone is in black making their way to the funeral standing in the rain watching them put her in the ground everyone was in tears Damian was the one most upset everyone left but Damian stood there I'm so sorry Beloved he said looking the the Grave that said Kc beloved friend and hero i love you to he said then finally walking away what he didn't know was two shadowy people dressed in black and hoods in assassins attire stood in the shadows waiting for him to leave once he left they started digging up her grave one of them picking up her body the other refilling the hole with that they left
