Egyptian witches perform magick at gatherings called Moon Celebrations or Esbats which coincide with the phases of the moon.

The ankh is an important symbol of life in Egyptian witchcraft. Egyptian witchcraft isn't the most common combination but many people who follow a magickal path will be drawn to the pantheon of Egypt in their studies.

Today many people who practice Egyptian witchcraft are really following a variation of Wicca that includes the involvement of Egyptian deities.

Ankh

The ankh is also known as the key of life. It represents the concept of eternal life and the breath of life. The ankh can be used as a porthole or mirror to the other side and can serve as a channel of communication to the divine. It is an amulet of spiritual healing. The ankh is worn for good luck and fortune and to protect against bad energies.
