Maya finished to fold her last clothe in the bag. It was their last day in their 'honeymoon' and she couldn't be any happier than she was at that time. How ironic was that? Real couples who go for real honeymoon they always don't want their love days to come to an end.

They even go to an extent of adding few more weeks even a month. But there she was, happy. Happy that her mystery of an honeymoon was coming to an end. She closed her bag and slid it on the floor.

Maya walked towards the kitchen to take a glass of water. She was thirsty from all the work she had done all afternoon. Yes, they had to stay till afternoon since according to their flight, they had to land at 6:30pm and it was 4:49pm, which left her with nothing to do.

Maya walked back to the sitting room and sat on the couch. The couch that had become her bed for the past one week. She was going to miss it. Miss it since back at the mansion, it was the cold floor that she had to sleep on. She let out a breath that she had no idea she was holding when she began to think of that cold floor.

Maya shook her head to try and convince herself to try and see  the good side of it. The cold floor made her not to need alarm since it turned to be day time, the more it became cold. This made her to never be late at work something that she thought would happen once she ever got married.

To her, getting married before was taking yours and your husband's responsibility. But with Chris, it was different. All you had to do was pay for everything bad that happened in his life. That was the only responsibility that you had to take care of.

Thinking of paying, her mind couldn't help but think of three days ago. The day she slept at Leone's place and came back late. Her husband made her pay. He made her sleep on the cold floor for the remaining hours of the night but not in the living room.

Chris said he didn't trust her to be alone because she could sleep on the couch, so, he asked her to move to the bedroom. The following day, he woke up with an hungover, and still blamed her. He asked her to make sure that it was gone and he didn't care how she did it and he, he didn't need any kinda medication.

So Maya did what she knew the best. She clapped on the bed, which Chris protest asking her what she was doing. Then she moved behind his back while he sat on his sitting position. She massaged his head for three hours none stop.

All Chris did was protest when she tried to stop. He would complain that his head still hurt like hell. So, she continued till he fell back asleep again. Her fingers hurt since she wasn't a masseuse. When she thought she was done with the problem for a while, she found a large list of the work she had to do that day.

Her eyes almost pooped out of her socket with all the things that were written on it. Her dad hated her but he never made her do the house chores. She had maids for that job. So, how was she even going to do it. Clean the whole penthouse without making any noise to wake him up.

If there was one weakness about Maya and she knew about, it was that she was clumsy. Then how was she going to work around the penthouse without making any noise. It's not like she hadn't tried to do this so many times, she did but her nanny had to tell her to stop.

To stop since she was worse. She would only tell her to stick to her books that contained allot of Chemistry and Biology since that's what she was good at. And now, here she was, if only she insisted more than before. Maybe she would have more than making coffee and preparing a glass of juice.

Maya did the cleaning as she was asked but it was harder than she thought. By the time she was done, she thought Chris will be awake complaining but it seemed her hands had a magic since he slept all through it despite all the mess she made while doing her chores.
