IT'S CURIOUS HOW RELATIONSHIPS WITH PEOPLE ARE AS PREDICTABLE AND SCARY AS LIFE IS. There is no one way to know what is going to happen, if it will work out, will it last and you definitely know that there isn't one way that it will go so you just have to deal with it. Bella knew that there was hope for her father with his and Linda's relationship after seeing how nervous he had acted when choosing his outfit. It was practically the exact same way he acted on his first date with the woman, using his superspeed to change outfits and driving both Joe and Bella crazy with the same warning of shooting him if he dared change one more time.

Joe had been tired and wanted to be left alone so Cisco decided to drag Bella with him and Wells on their little movie marathon. Bella was hesitant at first, not wanting to intrude on their moment, but in the end, she still went, and here is where she was. In a pair of grey sweatpants, a blue S.T.A.R Labs sweatshirt and her shoulder-length hair pulled back by a hairband. It seemed like her ability to feed on the energy of emotions from other people made some changes in her body making it seem as if she was a super healthy girl who did exercise and ate healthily when in reality she was the complete opposite.

"Oh, Buster Keaton. That guy was a genius." Cisco said from Bella's left with Wells on the other side of Cisco as they watched a movie in black and white on a small screen with a pipe that could be adjusted at a certain height.

"Yup." Wells nodded in agreement while popping some popcorn on his mouth.

"I can't believe you've never seen this movie." Cisco pointed out before pointing at Bella, "Or you."

"Must have been before my time," Wells answered while Bella simply shrugged and kept watching the movie while enjoying her cold water and bag of blue M&M's. She had specifically bought a bunch of packets just so she could separate them all and put all the blue ones in a bag so she could have a blue-colored tongue. It had taken her a while but the blue Smurf tongue was worth it.

"I gotta make you two a must-see movie list, pronto," Cisco added with all seriousness before turning back to the screen and munching on his own popcorn.

"Please do." Wells agreed, "While I am more than happy to spend an evening watching old movies with you, Cisco, do you not have your brother's dinner to attend?"

All the humor seemed to drain out of their jokester friend and movie fanboy before he tried covered it up, "Yeah. I was gonna ask Caitlin and Bella to come with me, but then I got a much better idea."

"Which was?" Wells and Bella asked knowing fully well that when their dear friend got an idea it wasn't your typical normal idea.

"To not go at all," Cisco answered popping popcorn in his mouth with his eyes on the screen and a careless shrug.

"Oh." Wells deadpanned for a moment, "Things are not any better with your family?"

"You're missing the movie." Cisco switched the subject while pointing at the screen as if it was more important than the conversation they were having over his family. To Bella it was as clear as a brand new clean window that the guy was trying to drop the subject, in all honesty, that's another thing she and Cisco had in common, they like to avoid topics by shrugging things off and putting in a fake smile as if nothing was wrong.

"Right." Wells nodded accepting the answer and turning back to the screen.

Meanwhile, Bella wasn't having it. It was unhealthy to keep those type of conversation to the side and never bring them up. She knew that Cisco didn't get along well with his family, she just didn't why specifically, nor did she have any idea that it was this bad. Stereotypically Latino families are kind of big, loud, and very close, at least from her point of view. Yes they can be annoying, have their faces but in the end, no matter if your White, Black, Latino, Indian, Asian, Russian, or whatever identity you have its family. Her friend needed help and he wouldn't budge, so she crossed her arms and turned her body so she was facing Cisco with a lifted eyebrow that she would often see on Iris's face saying I'm not stupid and I'm not buying it, so spill.
