BELLA NEVER REALLY DID LIKE SURPRISES WHEN IT CAME TO SOMETHING THAT MADE HER WANT TO THROW UP. Unfortunately, it seemed like Bella was having more and more of those surprises that made her want to throw up than she wished. Ironically, the oldest one being the day she had to tell her mother it was okay to take her last breath, the most recent one being in the present as she read the title page of a holographic newspaper that meant she would have to say goodbye to her father.

Bella wrapped her arms around herself to keep the shivering fear inside of her as best as she could. Like some type of inner bond between father and daughter, Barry didn't need to look down to know his daughter was afraid, he simply knew. Barry softly held his daughter closer to him by pushing her head in his chest and rubbed her back in circles, an act that he figured out not only worked with Rose when she would get scared, which was very rare, but that also worked with his daughter.

From behind them, Cisco and Caitlin still stared at the image before them with Cisco being the first one to speak up as he read the headline, "Flash missing. Vanishes in crisis."

Barry held Bella to his chest not letting her see the newspaper while he read the article, "After an epic street battle with the Reverse-Flash, our city's very own Scarlet Speedster disappeared in an explosion of light."

Caitlin spotted something taking a step forward as she pointed up, "Barry, look at the date."

"April 25th, 2024." Barry read out loud making something trigger in his mind in realization, "Guys, when I fought the Reverse-Flash at Christmas, he said that we'd be fighting for centuries."

"Wait," Caitlin spoke up putting her hand out to Barry as she looked in his eyes, "you can't really think that this is from the future."

"That would means Dr. Wells,-" Cisco stopped himself before correcting, "or whoever he is, is also-"

"From the future." Barry finished for his friend.

Cisco then traced his eyes over the picture before he started mumbling, "I have to say, I'm really digging the brighter red suit. And the white on the symbol? That's dope."

"Wait a second." Cisco cut himself off, "Suppose we now change the color on your suit. Will it be because we got the idea from this picture? That would mean we're living in a causal nexus. Wow, this- This is so trippy. Like, Marty and the Polaroid trippy."

"Not as trippy as the name on the byline." Caitlin added before all their heads turned towards the top left side of the picture where a mane appeared in black bold letters.

"Iris West" Barry read softly before he forced the last name out of his mouth in disbelief, "Allen?"

"You and Iris," Bella asked out loud as she took her head out of her father's chest and stared at the words with wide eyes, "end up together?"

Bella didn't know what to think. The signs were all so clear: the strong bond between them, the gazes between each other, the hug they had earlier at the police station when Eddie was being interrogated. One part of her was happy that her father would end up being with a woman he loved and Bella did get along with Iris, even if they didn't meet eye to eye at the moment. Yet, another part of her kept driving her to the obvious fact that sent her stomach backwards. If Iris and her father ended up together, what would happen to Eddie?

The guy is madly in love with Iris!

Something really bad must of happened if they broke up and Iris married her father. Either that or their already rocky relationship would end up staying like that.
