Packing

~2 Days Later~

Hiccup was sat on his sofa in the dinning room, he suddenly jolted up panting and breathing heavily, he was seeing into the future again and he saw The time in future when Astrid's water broke

For some reason it scared him and made him happy as he knew his baby will be fine and he will get Astrid back home

He came out of his thoughts when he heard a knock at the door, he got up and went over to the door, when he opened it he saw Valka standing there smiling with a shoulder basket

"W-What's with the basket? are you going s-somewhere?" he asked nervously

"No Hiccup actually I'm not...but you are" she said as she handed him the basket

"You have mastered your ability yes?" she said "y-yeah, I have, why?" he said not liking where this was going

"Good. then it's time for you to face Drago and get Astrid back" she said confident that Hiccup will win

"B-but mum..." he whined "no but's Hiccup, you've waited for a chance to beat Drago once and for all and now is your chance...don't let this one go son" she said as she placed her hand on his cheek

Hiccup sighed and looked at Toothless who came over and nudged his hand as if telling him 'let's do this'

"Okay then. I'll pack today then I'll leave tomorrow with Dagur and Alvin, oh! I forgot to say, should i take the night fury hurd? because I'm gonna need a lot of help" he said grinning

Valka laughed and put a hand on his shoulder "do what you have to do and get Astrid back, here this is a map you need to get to Alcahbarb from Berk...you're going to need it more than I do" she said as she handed him the map and walked out leaving him to pack his belongings that he needs for the long journey ahead

It was now mid-day and Hiccup was almost done packing when he heard someone knocking at the door, he sighed and got up, he opened the door and smiled to see his friends standing there

"Hey guys, come in" he said letting them in, he closed the door and turned to them so what brings you guys here?" he said

"To give our favourite chief our wishes" Snotlout said patting Hiccup on the back "while you're there make sure to blow something up" Tuffnut said grinning

"And kick Drago's butt..literally" Ruffnut said "Hiccup, I know I'm new to your little gang of riders but...come back soon, your like my little brother" Eret said as he got Hiccup in a head lock and have him a nuggie

When Hiccup got free of Eret's grip he shook his hand and looked at Fishlegs "come here fish" he said opening his arms and gave Fishlegs one of his famous bro hugs

He let Fishlegs go and looked at them all smiling and noticed some were tearing up slightly

"I'll come back guys, I promise" he said to them "how about one last race around the island for old times sake" Snotlout suggested "oh you're on Snotty" Hiccup said and they all ran out to their dragons and headed off to the start/finish line

Once they were all lined up Eret counted down "okay ready...3...2...1...GO!" he shouted and soon they shot off and raced round the island laughing the entire way round

It was the day Hiccup set off to battle Drago and he had never been so nervous in his life, he packed all his things as well as Astrid's headband that he had fixed and put diamonds on it instead of runes

He hauled the basket over his shoulder and turned to Toothless "you ready to go bud" he said and Toothless just licked his face in response "oh come on Toothless you know that doesn't wash out" he laughed

He opened the door only to be greeted by roaring cheering Vikings who were all chanting his name and clapping "w-what are you all doing here?" he said smiling from ear to ear

"We came to give the pride of Berk a special something" one of them said, then a little 10 year old girl walked forward holding a chest plate the same as his current one but it had the words "BERK'S NUMBER ONE CHIEF" engraved on it

"Oh my Thor, who made this?" he said astounded by the work put into it "it was me" the little girl said smiling

Hiccup looked at her in disbelief and hugged her "thank you sweetie, you made me proud to be your chief, thank you" he said as he hugged her again, the entire crowd smiled and chuckled as they saw how soft their brave leader can actually be

When he let the girl go he took off his current chest plate and put on his new one "oh it fits perfectly, thank you" he said as he kissed the little girls forehead

"And there is something from us as well" he heard someone say, he turned round and saw the gang standing there with huge smiles "you guys got me something too?" he asked "yup, follow me" Eret said

They walked through town until they got to the centre of the village "we know how hard it is to be chief and what you have to sacrifice for those you love the most...so in honour of your bravery and caring heart we built you this" he said and then they pulled at a leather sheet reviewing a statue of Hiccup and Toothless and on the stand it said "THE PRIDE OF BERK"

Hiccup gasped in awe and looked at their efforts "oh.my.gods!" he gasped "thank you so much you guys I mean it" he said smiling uncontrollably

Alvin and Dagur soon walked upto him and by the looks of their armour and weapons they were ready to go "well. looks like it's time for me to go...thank you to every single person here...and I promise I will return" he said "Toothless call your friends" he commanded

Toothless' back fins started to glow and he shrieked so loud everyone cover their ears, when he stopped there was silence for a while

Until one by one all the Night Furies responded and flew over and hovered above them

Then two of them landed in front of Dagur and Alvin then stopped before them, the two men held their hands out to them and soon had a successful bond as the two dragons pressed their snouts against their palms and purred softly

Hiccup, Dagur and Alvin all smiled as the mounted their dragons and shot into the skies leading the Night Fury pack to Alcahbarb "okay guys, next stop. Alcahbarb island" he yelled "come on already and let's go, I wanna give Drago a piece of my mind" Dagur said "same here" Alvin replied

Hiccup grinned and sped up "I'm coming Astrid, you're coming home, I promise...so start packing" Hiccup mumbled
