Surprise

It was three days until the day Hiccup is going to fight Drago for Astrid, he won't be so stupid to let him get away this time, but will he be able to do it, he has never killed anyone before and what will Astrid think of him if he did
He was in the academy that night and he couldn't believe his eyes, the place hadn't been touched for years, and not only that but the academy sign that was suspended above the gate was gone

He walked through what was his efforts of training the dragons to what they are now, target barrels covered in dust and moss along with a battered painting of the other teens and their dragons hanging on the wall
Hiccup smiled at it and lifted it off the wall and stared at it

He sat down after a while and thought about why he was doing this and he became more confident that if it was for Astrid he could do it easily, but he wasn't to happy about the vision he had but he decided not to focus on it at the moment and decided to look through some more of what was his second home

A few hours passed and he heard the gate open behind him, he looked back and he saw Toothless walking through the gates towards him "hey bud....uh how did you open the gate?" He said "I opened it for him fishbone" a voice said "who said that" he said as he got a firm grip on his Inferno ready to pull it out "are you seriously going to fight your own friends" the voice said again then from the gate was five figures walking towards him

When they came into view Hiccup smile and chuckled "I never thought I'd see this again, the defenders of Berk in the academy once again....only this time it's like we all died as never came back" he said looking around at the ruins

"Oh my gods! I remember now" Fishlegs said in shock "when you....supposedly died, Astrid....Hiccup was in such a mess he didn't turn up to any of the lessons and I had to teach everyone, then after a year we couldn't carry on with out him.....so we closed the academy and haven't been back since" he said

Astrid looked at Hiccup in shock and saw him staring at all the broken hanger doors and broken training items they used to have, she walked over to him and put a hand on his shoulder, he looked at her and saw the sadness in her eyes and she could see his, they wrapped they arms round each other tightly and didn't let go

"I always wanted this place to look like a thunder drum hatched in here but now, I feel really bad about not coming back" Ruffnut said "yeah, but we couldn't remember, we struggling so badly without Hiccup we weren't able to learn anything Fishlegs was trying to teach us" Tuffnut replied sadly
Hiccup and Astrid eventually released each other and stared into each others eyes "I'm sorry Astrid" Hiccup said softly "what for?"she said "everything"

Then they were snapped out of their little
moment when the horn was blown

"Ships on the horizon?" Astrid said, Hiccups face then suddenly went from shocked and confused to angry and fearless, he called Toothless over and flew out the arena as fast as he could "Hiccup wait!" Astrid screamed

Hiccup ordered Toothless to go as fast as he could and he did " I'm coming for you Drago, this time.....you will see how it is to die" he said under his breath and flew to the ships closing in on Berk

Hiccup landed on this deck of the biggest ship he saw, Drago must have been there somewhere so he landed and took out the first lot of guards and Toothless dealt with the rest "come out Drago" he screamed "I know you're here so come out and let's finish what was started five years ago" everything was silent for a while, all that was heard was the waves and the wind

Then from behind came a creak and what sounded like footsteps, Hiccup turned round and it sounded like it was coming from a dark room with no light what so ever, he pulled out his Inferno and ignited the flames ready to fight, then in the darkness he saw movement of a large figure inside and it came closer and closer to the door

He came into full visibility and Hiccup gripped his sword and growled under his breath "it's been a long time dragon master" he said "five years Drago.....Five long years" Hiccup growled
