Miracles

5 years later

You would think that after five years alone Hiccup would have remarried or gotten over Astrid's death, but he hasn't, he never wants anyone but Astrid and he wakes up and goes to bed every day in tears as he missed the warm feeling he used to get when she was next to him

He sighed and got out of bed and went down to the kitchen to make some breakfast, he fried some eggs and boar meat in a pan, he almost dropped everything when Miracle grabbed his legs making him jump

"Whoa! Miri! I told you not to sneak up on me when I'm making breakfast" he said as he picked her up "I know but it's funny scaring you" she said as she poked his nose making him laugh

Then Toothless came down the stairs and nudged Hiccup "oh hey bud, you want to play?" he said getting a nod from Toothless in response

Hiccup put Miracle back on the floor and knelt down so he was her eye hight "Miri, play with Toothless until I get back okay, and don't break anything" he said as he got up and walked out the door

/1 Hour Later\

Hiccup was walking back to his house happily with a huge basket of fish, his smile melted when a ear piercing scream came from his house "Miri!" he gasped and he sprinted over to his house

He rammed the door open and yanked out his Inferno, fear flooded his system when he saw a masked figure holding Miracle with a knife to her neck "Miri!" he whimpered

"Nice to see you chief, it's not every day you hold his only daughter hostage" the figure said

"What do you want?"

"Your Dragon idiot"

"Well forget it, you're not having him" he snarled

The figure raised the blade and brought it down but before it hit the figure was pinned to the was by Inferno and Miracle ran over to Hiccup crying her eyes out

"Oh baby girl, are you okay" he said "y-yeah, I'm okay" she sobbed rubbing her eyes "okay go on a flight with Toothless" Miracle nodded and ran out the door

Hiccup then looked at the figure who was pinned to the wall with rage in his eyes "you dare break into my home, you dare to hold my daughter hostage...who do you think you are" he snarled at the figure

"Someone who will kill you" "wait a minute, that voice where have I heard it before" Hiccup thought, he looked at the figure and noticed something, those eyes why are they so familiar

The figure then threw something at him and it landed at his feet, he picked it up and gasped, "where did you get this" he said, it was Astrid's headband

"From a friend"

"What friend" he yelled at the figure gripping their throat

"Drago Bludvist"

Hiccup dropped his hand and gasped, then he remembered he didn't finish what he started

"Leave now and I will let you live" he said as he pulled Inferno out the wall making her fall to her feet

"W-what? I just tried to kill your child, broke into your house and threw your wife's headband at you and y-you're not going to kill me or jail me...just...let me go?"

"Yes, now go" he said as he sat in his arm chair staring at the headband

The figure ran out the door and headed for the docks where the ship was waiting, they jumped on and set sail, when they were out of Berk's waters they looked back and said "why? why did you let me live?"

/2 Months Later\

Hiccup was at Astrid's grave with a huge bunch of red and white roses, they were her favourite ones, he placed them In front of the stone and sighed, "if you can hear me babe, I love you" he said then he stood up and walked back to the village

"5 years and I still haven't forgotten you, must be a new record for longest time being depressed...I miss you Astrid and one day I will see you again"

I KNOW ANOTHER SHORT ONE BUT IM IN COLLEGE SO I DON'T HAVE ALOT OF FREE TIME ON MY HANDS SO GIVE ME SOME SUPPORT PLZ
