(Lunch break)

The other students now felt a more heavy athmosphere on Ai, she was smarter than expected so they can't mock her like they planned. She stood up and went outside to eat, she saw a tree no human near whatsoever, she decided to sit at the trunk "Why are you sitting there?" Asano decided to follow her again, he wasn't hiding it, he was actually walking next to her the whole time, but he decided to keep quite as she climed the tree

"Is there a no climbing a tree rule?" She asked

"Well no one here climbs the tree just to sit and eat lunch on it... so no" He replied

"I see.. then I'll help myself here" Ai said, but even as she was eating, Asano was still there with one of his hands on his hip "Yes? Why do you stand and observe? Are you expecting me to express my gratitude over what happened at class a couple of times? Is that's the case then I've already given my thanks after each one"

"No it's not that, you know, you've really exceded my expectations, I've speculated that your brain can be capable in either B or C when I first met you, but today you have proven yourself worthy of class A, why not transfer there? I was told you were only on class E because you have some.. issues.. but with some convincing I can put you in our class. What do you say?" Asano asked, he just really wanted her to be closer to him and farther away from Karma, and although class a does have a perverted teacher and womanizing classmate, Asano is willing to defend her no matter how many times it takes

"I am thankful that you found me worthy enough to be in your class, but me being in class E doesn't just have to do with what the chairman told you, I also have a different reason to be there that just so happened to be classified information thus I will not go" She explained. She was actually a bit flustered thinking he just might to be closer but quicklu shook it off knowing that's not the case

"I see, even though you earned yourself another friend, you still refuse?" He asked

"Oh so being friends with you, means that one has to show their knowledge and prove to be capable" She said "But still no.. instead if you will, sit next to me, I was told that friend share things, even food ,so I'll give you a piece of my lunch"

Asano smirked "Very well"

The chairman peeked through the window of his office, he saw his son and Ai sitting on a tree, Ai feeding Asano some food, Asano smirked.. but looked more than a smile which bothered the chairman a bit "hm... well at least he didn't like a person that only wants his money or looks'

"Where do you read things about friends?" Asano asked

"Various websites on the internet" Ai said and drank water, she has been doing a lot of research on how to make friends, not just because she was ordered to be a normal highschooler but she actually wants to "Why?"

"Well..." Asano got his mouth wiped by a handkerchief of Ai's "....I think this something more than friends do... with feeding me earlier as well"

"Well this is from another site I saw, it did say 'boy' friend, so I'm assuming I got it right, is it different?" She asked

"That's a different kind of friend, though I don't mind other things that much, this kind of thing is for people in a relationship, it might be troublesome if people misunderstood our relationship" He explained

"I see, so it's the lovers kind" Ai said, she scooted away a bit "I apologize, my denseness to things like that may or may not have caused you trouble"

"Rather than apologize you should think of this as an advice, to stop reading in sites and make friends like any normal person, every person needs something different to make themselves your friend, while some are easy prey simply talk to them and they get to be your friends" Asano said

"So simply observe their behavior and I'll get all the friends I desire" She asked

Asano smirked liking the conclusion she came up with "You can think of it that way"

*rrrriiiiinnnnggg*

"Shall we go?" Asano brought up his hand

".....this is one of the things I found in a site, if I were to be blunt, this is either you making a move on me or you are just being a gentleman" Ai said

"Hm, I wonder about the first one, but regardless, let us go, we'll be late for class and I don't want to be held back by you, even though you're almost on the same level as me" Asano said, he jumped down not waiting for her "Oh, and don't think just because I initiated a conversation with you and became your friend, doesnt mean that we should be like that, you're still from class E after all"

"If you insist that all students from Class E is as low as you think, then wait for the exams, I'll show you what we're made of" She responded back with a glare much like Asano's "I won't dissapoint" She jumped down next to Asano, they continued to talk as they walk to their mext class "And I'll beat you"

"Hahaha you were so formal earlier, why do you think you can just talk like that to me, I won't be beaten" Asano said

"I can talk how I want to whoever I want, but as a 'friend' I simply observed like what you said, and it seems you take pleasure in talking down upon others, but also being challenge" Ai said "Of course I won't just challenge you, one of us needs to win, and one needs to lose, I will be on the winning end"

"I'll make you eat your words" Asano glared with a smirk as they reached the next class

"Oh? The student from class E? I thought the chairman was joking, it seemed he was not, I hope you can follow through the lesson, class E student" The teacher mocked, the other students of class A couldn't laugh with the teacher since they knew of her capability. Ai and Asano shared a knowing look before smirking
