"Shu!?" Ai was alarmed when Asano was not yet in class when she entered, she went his group of friends but they told her that sometimes his father would call him about something but he'll be back, sometimes a little bit late after the teacher arrives so Ai decided to wait for one lesson. But when Asano finally came in in the middle of class he was with a black eye "What happened to you?! You weren't doing some business?"

"Oh.. uh, I give you permission to get Asano to the nurse's office" The teacher said, in truth, Ai had once again gave fright to one of the teacher by outsmarting them and scaring them here and there

"I'll be taking him either way" Ai said and held Asano's arm as they walk to the nurse's office "What happened?"

"It's nothing, just an unstable guy swinging his fist around" Asano answered which is technically still true "But I'm fine"

"No you're not, that'll bruise, who on earth would leave an unstable guy alone like that, they should know better especially if they're violent" Ai said

"I know" Asano said, they reached the nurse's office and saw the nurse treating someone else

"Excuse me, he needs to be treated" Ai told the nurse, who quickly stood up after seeing Asano's eye "Long story short someone punched him so treat him now"

"Ai no need to rush, she's still working" Asano said, but Ai cupped his cheeks and gently made him look at her

"I don't want to see you hurt, I should've accepted your request when you wanted to come with me, or else this wouldn't happen" Ai said, she gently touched his eye but he flinchef a bit so she looked down

Asano smiled and held her shoulders "Don't blame yourself, I said I'm fine, it's just one bruise, I'm going to heal... but I think I'll heal faster if I see you smile"

Ai looked back at him, seeing him with a bruise was a bit alarming for her, but hearing and seeing that he is fine even with that bruise reassured her a bit, especially when he asked for her smile, so she did "...Alright..." She said with a small smile and a hint of blush

"I feel better already, nothing will beat your smile" Asano said as he leaned his forehead on hers and smiled

"I'm sorry, but I'm available now, please come with me so I can treat you" The nurse said with wide eyes shocked that Asano could actually be head over heels for a person, he can actually be kind, and loving, completely contradicting his attitude before Ai has met him

"Alright, wait for me Ai" Asano said

"Of course"

(Time skip)

"Ai. I called father" Asano said as they both were left alone at the clinic, they sat next to eachother at a bed

"Yeah and?" Ai asked

"I told him to call Karma"

"Huh why?"

"I want the two of you to talk" Asano said, Ai was about to reply but Asano cut her off "He may have hurt and that has angered you. I'm angry too... but I can see that you're still upset about this. I want you to talk to him to clear things out on a positive note so both parties are satisfied"

"Shu, are you sure about this?" Ai asked. She knows that Asano likes her, and now that she's angry with Karma she would think he would not even allow Karma to go near her, but here he is helping to patch up her problem

"Ai. I love you. I know we haven't even started dating but I would want to go as far as marrying you and so on" Asano said

"....Shu I-"

"Don't answer yet. Answer me when you have everything setted" Asano said, he took both Ai's hand in his, he had a saddened expression on his face, but it can't be help, he's literally helping his rival. But if it's for Ai he seems to be willing to do anything "Go to him. But don't forget I love you"

"...Alright... I'll talk to him" Ai said and looked down, she remained sitting next to him though, she was obviously uncomfortable to even talk to Karma. Ai squeezed Asano's hand as she looked at him again. "Before I go.. I just wanted to tell you that... I have feelings for you, you were such a bully at first, then turned to rival, then a bully again, then cuddly, affection.... you're like a roller coaster, I was a bit resistant but found myself happy with you. Thank you Shu" Ai gave Asano a small kiss on his lips before standing up and kissing his forehead "I'll be going now..."

Asano smiled sadly. His chance with her are questionable if the talk will go well, so this might be his last chance with her, he's glad she kissed him "...See you later"
