It's morning. Time for school. I sigh. The weekend went by so quickly..
I couldn't sleep at all. I kept thinking about the hacker. No, not 707, I mean, yeah, him too, but the other hacker,"Unknown".
It was just strange. Whatever.
I get dressed for school.
I wore a (f/c) oversized sweater, ripped jeans and a beanie.
I leave my house ten minutes earlier than usual. I'm hoping I can talk to Seven and see if he has found any information on the hacker.
It's foggy out today.
The school is about a 15 minute walk away from my house. I walk every day, but today feels different.
I keep walking. Footsteps.
...
Nobody is there. I walk a little faster. At least the school is only two corners away now. I race to the next corner, walking faster.
Then bang.
I fall to the ground.
!!!
"Woah there, Miss. Are you alright?" I hear a voice say.
"Oh, yeah, I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention." I reply.
He chuckles and it terrifies me. I feel as if I've heard it before.
He reaches his hand out to help me up. I reluctantly take it. Something doesn't feel right.
"I'm Ray. Nice to meet you." He says.
"Oh..I'm (Y/N)." I say.
"I must be stopping you from getting to your red headed friend, right? It's fine. Be careful. Don't trust him."
..
What?
I freeze. He walks around me.
"Wait. How do you-"
He's gone.
Ray..huh..
Strange.
How does he know me?
Whatever.
I run the rest of the way to school. Maybe I shouldn't tell Seven about Ray. He has enough stress right now. I'll tell him later when the time is right.
"Hey, hey!"
I hear a familar voice call from behind me as I reach the school gate.
"Hey!" I reply.
"Say, you didn't run into anyone on your way here, did you?" He asks. It's strange but his whole tone changes. He seems so..serious.
"Why do you ask?"
"Did you?"
He is quite persistent. I guess I have to tell him.
"Yes."
He freezes and then quickly grabs my shoulders.
"What did he say..?"
"His name is Ray. He told me not to trust you, Seven.." I say.
"I knew I shouldn't have gotten you involved in this..This is bad.." He says.
"What do you mean, Seven?"
"I..I gotta go. I'll talk to you later, alright?" He says quickly.
"Alright." I reply, a little scared at the way he is acting.
"Don't talk to strangers and don't leave the house by yourself. From now on, I'll walk you to school." Seven says, persistent.
"You don't have to-"
"Yes, I do. Trust me on this, please?"
"Well, okay. As long as it doesn't bother you." I reply to him.
He leaves quickly. He doesn't go in the school gates..
Instead, he walks back the way he came.
Strange.
I'm worried. Why is Seven acting so...strange?
