Your P.O.V.

It was Klaus. I dropped my nearly empty plastic mug. He was so grown-up. He still had his iconic curly brown hair. He had similar glasses. He now had a few adorable freckles on his cheeks. His jaw line had become more square. He had a goofy yet shy smile on his face. He was much taller than me. He was wearing a nearby yet casual outfit.

I jumped into his arms. He hugged me tightly. I pulled away and stared into his gorgeous eyes.

Y/n: H-How did you find me?

Klaus: VFD sent me your location. I've been looking for you for years. I've missed you so much, Y/n.

Y/n: I've missed you too. Oh, please, come in.

He took off his coat and his shoes. He sat on the couch. I poured him a cup of tea and sat across from him.

Klaus : Th-this is a nice place.

Y/n: Yeah, the university helps with the rent.

He stared at me, wide-eyed.

Klaus: You go to university?

Y/n: Yes, they gave me a scholarship. I study tidal charts and celestial bodies.

Klaus: Still passionate about astrology, I see.

Y/n: Indeed. What have you been up to?

Klaus: After, count Olaf's death, my sisters and I settled down with a loving family. I moved out a couple of years later. I now study literature in a nearby university. I work part-time in a library.

Y/n: How are your sister doing?

Klaus: Violet is an engineer. Sunny and Beatrice still attend school.

I nodded. We both sipped our chamomile tea. There was an awkward silence. After a few seconds, he interrupted it.

Klaus: I'm sorry for not writing. I wasn't sure if you wanted to hear from me.

Y/n: it's fine, don't worry. You had more important things to do. You must've been very busy. You didn't have time to write some childish letters. Don't apologize.

Klaus: Y/n, nothing's more important than you. I'll always make time for you.

We both blushed. We talked some more about miscellaneous things. After a while, it got dark. We thought it was best for him to go home.
