The Outbreak is a four-year experiment that allows 'freaks' ( The supernatural) and non-freaks a release from all the pent up hatred and violence that they keep up inside of them. The supernatural are not accepted into society, so those who are attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature will be put in faculties away from civilization.

But, once The Outbreak commences, those who are partaking in the experiment will be freely let out to do anything they please without a law or person to stop them.

Many lives are lost due to this, as well as properties/homes. But, authorities will do nothing to help you.

When you return home, you are ordered to act as if nothing ever happened. Leaving the memories of those four years behind you.
