A werewolf couple, Cedric Brown and his mate, Olivia were going to visit their alpha regarding the pack business when they heard a shrill cry. Being curious, they decided to check the matter out. They stumbled upon the most beautiful baby girl, they could ever lay their eyes upon. With her blue, doe shaped eyes, a tiny button nose and cherry red cheeks, the infant looked at the man holding her . Cedric, somehow felt a strong urge to protect this human baby with all his might. His mate, Olivia agreed with him. Despite meeting the baby just now, she felt a strong connection with this baby girl. They were just outside the pack territory and decided to discuss the matter with their alpha. Holding the child close to his chest, Cedric along with Olivia made a run to the alpha's manor. The alpha cocked an eyebrow upon seeing the human baby.
"You know the rules Cedric. A human on pack grounds is prohibited. You'll be punished severely for this. "
"With due respect alpha, I didn't intend to break the rule. But, I need to discuss something."
"Go ahead."
"Alpha, I found this baby girl just outside the territory. She was alone. It seems like she has been abandoned by her parents. I was hoping we could adopt her. We needed your permission. "
"Cedric, when she grows up, how will you explain her about werewolves, when she herself isn't one. It is against the law for a human to know about us. It cannot happen. "
"Please alpha, let us keep this baby girl. We live outside the territory. So, she won't have to know about us being werewolves. Please alpha, consider this request. " This time, Olivia cried out.
She couldn't help but want to keep the baby all to herself. After having her three young boys, she could not bear another pup. After considering the requests made by the couple, Alexander, the Alpha of New Moon pack decided to let them have the innocent looking infant.
Hearing the news, their joy knew no bounds, for now the most precious baby they had ever seen was their very own child. They would love the baby with all their heart. This was their pup now - Mabel Rosalie Brown.
