✩••••̩̩͙⊰•** 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑰𝑫𝑬𝑨 had always been discussed between Raia Shimazu and her five friends. It seemed like only a childish dream at first, because how could they possibly hop over all of those barriers? But as they all began to get jobs and save up and ease their parents into it, the single idea plaguing them became a reality.

It was finally time to get this show on the road (literally) when Raia got her driver's license.

Now, she wasn't usually the type to get all jumpy and off the walls about something. She was considered more laid back, not necessarily apathetic but instead naturally chill. An obviously stark contrast to her five chaotic friends.

But those same chaotic friends seemed to have infested her. As soon as she got ahold of her driver's license, she was bounding up the steps to Kirishima's apartment and barging in with no recollection of how a person functioned in normal society. With shrill cries, the two teens immediately set on fulfilling the very purpose of their friendship.

Kiri's moms didn't take much convincing. Neither did Bakugo's parents. Ashido and Kaminari's families took a day or two to explain and convince. Sero was the one held down by strictness, but that wore away after five of his friends appeared at his mom's feet and begged without a breath to stop.

Shimazu's dad was a different story, and one that would not be told. Fuck her dad, he could never hold her back.

"No, not 'fuck my dad!', Shimazu!" Sero cried. He hovered over Raia as she helped carry bags to her new but very used minivan, his fingers clenching nervously. "He can and will call the cops to say you ran away!"

"He wouldn't even notice I'm gone," she rolled her eyes. She grunted as she lifted Bakugo's bag, before tossing it into the back. She heard Mina whine a few feet away, encouraging Kaminari to charge her phone faster. "Last bag, huzzah!"

She huffed as the lanky teen ripped it out of her grasp, pulling it to his chest in order to draw her attention.

"Raia," the usage of her first name didn't feel awkward in the slightest. Everyone used each other's names once in awhile (hell, they used Mina's on the daily), and they were all close enough to the point it didn't matter much anyways. "Are we sure this is the best idea?"

"Hanta, put the bag in the car. We're going." She stared him down, and he stared back, until both of their glares softened. "We're UA's finest, and we're going on a bomb ass road trip. Leave your worries behind, dude. This is what we've all wanted, ever since we met."

"I've never wanted anything more," Sero agreed wistfully. "As long as I get to sit in the front."

"Then go get 'em, cowboy." Sero set the bag atop the others and sprinted towards his destination. She slapped the trunk with a smile, before rounding up the others. And finally, with a quick adjust of the rearview mirror and a reminder for everyone to click it or ticket, they were well on their way.

"We got a few hours until we switch seats, my dear old Katsuki," Raia snickered, still on top of her favorite game (fondly titled 'Annoy the Shit out of Bakugo'). The blonde growled from the back seat, snuggled between the two dumbasses who shared a braincell (also fondly titled 'Kaminari and Mina').

"Have fun!"
