✩••••̩̩͙⊰•**𝑨𝑺 𝑻𝑰𝑴𝑬 dwindled, the six fiends found themselves doing more and more everyday. They had about a week and a half before their allotted time was up (if just a moment too late their faces would surely be plastered across all the media: UA HERO COURSE STUDENTSMISSING! KIDNAPPED?) and school would start back up.
On this particular day, food seemed to be the eye of the prize.
"Korean?" Mina's voice rose in confusion from the passenger seat. "It would be like our fourth meal today, I'm stuffed!"
"I would kill to have your metabolism," Raia noted. Denki seemed to take it as a compliment and smirked confidently.
"And I would kill for some japchae right now," Sero stared off dreamily.
"How much damn money do we have left anyways? I'm not getting stranded in the fucking middle of nowhere because you idiots don't know to budget." Kirishima shrugged at Bakugo's clear warning.
"Shimazu's job pays well," he reminded the crimson eyed douchebag. "Even I took on a side job for this."
That was saying sometime. UA students rarely ever took on part time jobs. Studies were of the utmost importance, for you only got one chance at UA. The practice was even despised.
Shimazu didn't feel as if she was despised. She didn't exactly hide her home situation, cower away from the reality of it all. She could care less in every single person in that damned school knew.
Katsuki glanced to Eijiro through the rearview mirror, before letting out an irritated grunt. "Fine."
And with that, the ringleader led his circus towards their feast.
✩ • • • 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑲𝑶𝑹𝑬𝑨𝑵 based restaurant was bustling, to say the least. For you Americans, it was like Applebee's on a Sunday afternoon during the football game and half-priced appetizers. It was so busy that at Olive Garden they would have been gifted a circular plastic device that vibrates when their wait time is over.
But they still made it to a table.
Luckily it was a booth with cream cushions that held three on each side. Eijiro and Denki were squished upon a semitransparent wall that separated their table from the next. Hanta and Mina sat in the middle and discussed the dessert options together.
Katsuki only got the edge seat because he insisted that since 'I fucking drove here I sit where I goddamn please.' It was one of the things Raia had in common with him so she got to sit across from him.
Their waiter arrived a few minutes after the hostess had dropped them off, his arrival silent and swift.
"Good evening, everybody. My name is Andy, I'll be serving you tonight," he stated. Raia made eye contact with the man and gave him a polite smile. He smirked and raised an eyebrow at that, throwing her off guard.
"Andy?" Ashido mirrored. "Are you American?"
"Canadian, actually," he chuckled.
"That's some good Japanese, man!" Kirishima complimented. Andy bowed slightly in thanks before taking their orders.
They savored their food. It felt home cooked, warming up their stomachs and providing them with a unique sense of comfort since they had been missing from their mothers' arms. They even mixed and matched, taking bites of one another's plates without hesitation.
They were in the midst of roaring laughter when Andy appeared once again, setting a piece of paper down in front of Bakugo before leaning suavely before Shimazu.
"I appreciated your company tonight," he mumbled with an odd smile. Kaminari froze curiously, his cheeks puffed out from the chewing that he had been doing seconds before. The table grew silent but the white man before them didn't seem to notice nor care. "I would appreciate it even more later... if you get me."
Raia stared at him blankly sending a clear refusal to backdown. "No I don't."
"Well... you were my last table of the night and my car is out back. I'm sure I could find a quiet place." His smile only grew wider as he continued on.
Raia was asexual. Everyone in her class and then some had found out. Sex repulsed? Not so much. She could handle talk of the activity as smoothly as anything else, so that was not her main problem when it came to Andy's suggestion.
It was the fact that he was a stranger to her. That she was his customer and this was in no way and in no world professional. Millions of women went through this same experience everyday and Andy had revealed himself as another lowlife scum that would never understand.
There was that. And then there was also the fact that Andy was most definitely an adult. And Raia was most definitely not.
And yet she didn't crack. Her yellow eyes seemed to pierce into him, and watched blandly as he reached out a greasy hand to caress her shoulder. If he touched her then she would have an excuse for the police, so she decided she would let him.
But there was someone else who wouldn't.
Just as Andy's fingers grazed her olive skin a sturdy hand was wrapped around his wrist. Bakugo let loose a few short crackles, just enough to scare the man into submission.
"Try touching her again, you fucking extra, I dare you," he growled. His red eyes seemed to bleed with rage, a shadow falling over his sharp features that sent the waiter shaking. He squeezed harder and before they knew it Andy was gone.
Bakugo leaned back with a soft sigh, his eyes closing with a relief he would not admit to. He took a moment for himself, and when he opened back up he found Shimazu looking at him with a playful smile and adoration shining in her eyes.
"What the hell do you want?" He snapped as pink dusted over his cheeks.
"I had it," she shrugged. "I just didn't know you cared so much. Thanks, Katsuki."
"Oh shut up, you're more of than extra than that douchebag!"
"That was pretty out of character," Sero chuckled. The others only laughed as Bakugo began shouting for all of the other patrons to hear.
Andy got a 0% tip that night.
