Ashton's POV:
"And why do you think I'll marry her?" I asked my mom as I raised my eyebrow.
What was she thinking? That I'll gladly accept her proposal?! I don't even know that girl. What if she's just after Mr for money? Not that even though she's a good person, I want her. My mind is very much occupied by my Scar. I don't want anyone except her. I don't know what are my feelings for her, but I surely know that I don't want her away from me. I want her all for myself. Not even an hour passes without thinking about her.
"No man! You're not going to marry her".
I sighed. I agree with you.
"No mom. I can't," I stated bluntly.
I can't miss my Scar.
"Please son for your mum's sake please marry her. She's beautiful and well-mannered. I've seen her and she's the perfect match for you," she requests.
"So no to her. S.A.Y.N.O.O. A very big no. You can't leave Scar like that. No way. This is not gonna happen. Don't say yes otherwise, I'll kick your ass".
I know I know. But how can I escape from my mom now? She's not letting go of this matter.
"Better tell her about Scar," my innervoice suggested.
What!?!? No way. I've just started dating her. We are not even in a proper relationship. Sure, I want her in my life but this is too early. I can't tell mom about Scarlett just now.
"Then go and marry the girl your mom chose for you".
Aaaarrghh. SHUT UP. I'm not even able to think properly.
"I don't even know her mom. What if she's not kind as you're saying? What if she's a gold digger. You know what happened to me a while ago. Why are you forcing me, mom?"
"Son, I'm not forcing you. It's your life but what if she's the right girl for you? You should at least meet her right?"
"Mom, what if I tell you that I've already met someone?"
"Yess!! That's my boy. Go on. Tell her about Scar".
"Dear, are you serious? Or are you trying to escape from me as you always do?" my mom was shocked.
"I've really met someone mom," I said once again assuring her.
"Really!! I'm so happy for you son," she said squealing and engulfing me in a bone-crushing hug.
"What's with these mums and their bone-crushing hugs? Are you alright Ash? Are all your bones okay?"
Stop it and concentrate idiot.
"Is it alright for you? You are not furious?" I asked shocked.
"Why will I be furious Ash?" my mom chuckled.
"You said she's your best friend's daughter. I chose someone else over her. I mean you've no problem If I marry someone else rather than the one you chose for me?"
"I've no problem with whoever you choose, dear. I only want you to be happy," she said pinching my cheeks.
"Ah, mom. You won't leave my cheeks huh?" I said rubbing my cheeks. She loves to tease me.
"Not in a million years," she smirked. I love my mom so much. She's the best.
"Love you mom".
"Love you more dear," she said. "When are you going to introduce me to your girlfriend?"
Oh! What should I say? She's even planning my wedding. I can't let this happen.
"Mom, I want to tell you something"
"What is it?"
"I'm not going to marry right now," I said as I looked at her.
"What!? Why?" she asked as her eyes widened.
"We've just started dating. I didn't propose to her. I like her a lot. But I'm confused about my feelings for her," I said genuinely.
"You mean you don't love her?"
"I just need some more time, I want to get to know her better," I sighed.
"Ok, dear. Take your own time, but if you realize that she's the one. Don't miss her, okay?"
"Yeah, mom. I think you'll like her a lot. She's not like any other girl I'm with. She's completely different. She's so genuine, kind and a beautiful woman in and out," I said in a daze.
She smiled looking at me "Do you really think you don't love her, son?"
"What?"
"I can see in your eyes that she means a lot to you, the sparkle in your eyes while talking about her, don't you think you love her?" she said patting my back.
"Do you think I am?" I asked.
Scarlett's POV:
After Ashton left I locked the door and went to Ami.
"So are you going to tell me what happened?" she asked.
"Guess what guess what?"I said bouncing in my spot.
"What?" she chuckled.
"Ashton took me on a date," I said loudly as her eyes widened.
"What?!?!?!?! Really???? " Ami squealed hugging me.
"Yessssss"
"And?"
"And said he wants to give our relationship a try, he also said he wants to be with me, get to know me more, " I said blushing.
"You went on your first date Scar. I'm soo happy" she said hugging me.
I smiled as I told her where Ashton took me and also said that we slept in his room that night.
"Oh my god! Did you stay with him that night?" She asked her eyes wide.
"Yes," I bit my lip.
"Did you do it with him?" she asked.
"What!? No" I blushed.
"Didn't he ask for it?"
"No Ami, he said he'll wait for me until I'm ready," I said smiling.
"Scar, I think he likes you so much. Everyone knows that he's a playboy. But he's so patient with you and even cares about your decision"
"I think I'm falling for him Ami," I said as I remembered the time I spent with Ashton.
