Scarlett's POV:
"I can't believe you hate Thor. He's my favorite Avenger"
"I think he sucks," Ashton booed.
"You are just jealous because he's hotter than you," I stuck out my tongue teasing him.
"I'm the hottest man there is," he purred, forcing me to feel his abs as I blushed. This man showed me the true side of him. Who would have thought that the famous playboy of the city would be a family man? He's just that softball who is all mushy inside and has a kind heart.
"Ashton?"
He looked at me smiling, "Mm?"
"Can I ask you something?"
"Anything, sunshine," he said gently cupping my face with his hands.
"When was the last time you were in a relationship?" I asked.
His smile slowly disappeared as he got off the bed and started walking away. I too got off the bed and made my way toward him.
I touched his shoulder and he turned to face me. I brought my hand to his cheek as my brown eyes looked deeply into his green ones. His eyes were moist as tears formed in his eyes.
"Ashton, tell me. Please, let me in," I begged.
He inhaled deeply, "I don't know if we could talk about it now. I don't want to hide it from you, but I really don't want to talk about it right now. When the time comes, I would definitely explain everything to you, baby"
"Okay," Was all I could say. I don't know why but I feel like he doesn't trust me enough to tell me about his past. All I could do is wait till the time comes to let the truth come out.
"Baby, please don't be disappointed. It's not like I don't trust you, I just don't want to ruin our best time," he said reading my mind, and kissed my forehead. He really does know how to change my mood.
"Do you want to go to the beach?" he asked smiling.
"Yes!!" I said excitedly and jumped into his arms as he instantly wrapped his arms around me and hugged me very tight like he never wants to let go of me. It felt so right to be here with him like this.
"But I don't have anything to wear," I complained looking at him as he chuckled, "You can wear Arianna's clothes baby," he reminded me.
He then went to dress up as I went to the other room to have a look at the clothes. I picked up a blue chambray lace-up skater dress which seemed more like a sundress and would be comfortable for the beach.
I put on my bikini and then the dress. After a good 15 minutes, we were out of the condo and were on our way to the car. We hopped in the car and took off.
I exited the car when we reached the beach. A goofy smile appeared on my face, I can smell the salty and fresh air, and the sounds of waves reached my ears, as I took a deep breath.
"Hey, control, or else you will steal the whole earth's oxygen,"
Hey, I'm a normal human being.
"I wish you were,"
Now shush, let me enjoy it.
The beach was not crowded as always, just a few people were there. I don't want to be in a crowded area, I just prefer this to be peaceful with Ashton. Today is the best day to be at a beach. Awesome weather plus fewer people.
"That's good, few people will see your fat body".
I'm not fat!! Even If I am fat, what's wrong with wearing a bikini?
