Break up

Dianne's POV
I had to end things with Anthony, I had to do it now before I ended up doing something stupid or that I'll regret. I had started to develop feelings for Joe. The strictly curse had struck and it was changing my life but not in a bad way like I thought it would it was changing my life for the better, I felt something with Joe that I hadn't felt with anyone before not even Anthony. I made my way to the café were i was meeting him.
At the café
I walked into the café and saw Anthony sitting at a table.
"Hey" I Said as I walked over to him
"Hey" he said standing Up and giving Me a hug, but it was more of a friendly hug, we sat back down
"I got your favorite, just how you like it" he said handing me a soy latte. Damn he knew me so well, maybe this was going to he harder than I thought but it had to be done.
"So listen Di, I need to talk you about something really important"  Said Anthony with a serious look on his face
"Okay, but I need to tell you something first" I said
"No please Di just here me out"
"Okay" I said with a sigh as I felt so bad and I just wanted it to be over
"I think we should break up, and "it's not that I don't love you anymore coz I do but the distance and with our jobs we never have any time for each other and so I think it's best that we go our separate ways but I hope we can stay friends" said Anthony. Wow! He had just made my job ten times easier
"I think that's for the best too, but I would like to stay friends" I said
"Well that settles it then, anyway I'd best be off, I'll see you soon Di" said Anthony getting up and walking out of the café. I sat there in shock on  the one hand i wanted to burst into tears, but on the other hand i was happy and relieved that it was over, i guess i just didn't think that Anthony was going to
end things with me. I finished my drink and then I got up and walked out off the café.
