Paso doble performace

Joe's POV
Strong, think strong Joe, I said to myself, but I couldn't concentrate, something was playing on my mind. I knew exactly what it was, I had told Dianne that I loved her, and she had said it back, but now I was wondering if she had really meant it. I decided that I was going to have to ask her about it, otherwise it would play on my mind during the dance and I Wouldn't be able to concentrate during the dance. I made my way to Dianne's dressing room, as I made my way there I saw Dianne
"Oh hey I was just coming to see you" she said she looking absolutely stunning
"Okay, well that's good cause I actually wanted to talk" I said
"Oh okay, shall we go back to your dressing room?" She asked, I nodded and we both walked back to my dressing room.
"So what did you want to talk about?" Asked Dianne as we sat on the sofa, I wasn't sure how to start.
"Okay, so you know during rehearsals, when I told you that I loved you and you said it back" I began
"Yeah..." she said
"Well I was just wondering if you really meant it"? I asked.
"Aww, of course I meant it, I love you Joe, you have to remember that I was going to say it first" she said with a giggle. I smiled and pulled her into a hug and kissed her, passionately, sparks flew, that was the only way to describe it as cliche as it seemed, everything was perfect until Ethan walked in (we had accidentally left the door open)
"Ahem" he cleared his throat, Dianne I pulled away and looked at him
"What the hell are you doing?" I asked in shocked
"I could ask you the same thing" said Ethan
"We'll talk about it after the show" he added, i sighed and nodded and then Ethan said "show starts in 10" before leaving the room. I see that Dianne was upset, I could see the tears running  down her face.
"Hey, hey hey. Don't cry" I said pulling her into a hug and rubbing her back.
"Come on lets gets this show over and done with, lets just try and forget about whats happened and have fun" I said Dianne nodded and then we got up and made our way to the stage.

AN
So this chapter  was kinda sad/cute, Also the next chapter is going to be the talk as i want something a little different rather than it just be rehearsals and then the performance, but this story is only just getting started, i mean i read a Joanne fanfic that had 70 chapters it's called never have i ever by joeanneisreal so Hats off to them for writing 70 chapters!!!
