Just as Ian (who was 4th year) and Jolien got out into the school yard with her sister Hermione and his younger brother Harry along with their friends Ron who were goofying around while Hermione was lecturing them, their eyes fell on Diana who was smoking on a bench with tear stained cheeks with her younger brother Draco (who was in 3rd year along with Hermione, Ron and Harry), crouched before her, trying to make her smile or talk but all she did was shake her head and whisper out short answers
Ian and Jolien share a worried look before looking at Diana with the same look on their face.
Diana kept smoking while listening to Draco but she half ignored him since she had other things on her mind that drove her mad by the minute
Ian and Jolien without thinking twice and of course without telling their siblings rush over to Diana and Draco Jolien and Ian: Diana?! *yell reaching them* Ian: what's wrong? *asks with a worried look*
Diana just motions for them to sit down before she gathered her thoughts together
Jolien and Ian share a look nod and take a seat beside Diana.
Diana: I faild 2 of the exams for which I worked endlessly around the clock without sleep and my parents lectured me big time for it
Both jolien and Ian gaps upon hearing that. Ian: oh no. *frowns* Jolien: that's harsh. *frowns as well* Ian: *nods agreeing* Were sure you did your best... Jolien: *nods* yeah, none one works as hard as you do.
Diana: one of us works even harder than me *says as she looks at Ian as she throws away the end of her cigarrett*
Ian: okay that's true but that's not the point... Jolien: what we are trying to say is that we know you worked your butt of. Ian: *nods* you do your best that's all you can you do. Jolien: some exam just go bad no matter how hard you work for them. Ian: unfortunately we cant do much about it. *lays his hand on her back and strokes it up and down* as hard as it is to accept and hear you failed. Draco: don't forget out parents scolding her big time. that's when Jolien sends him a "your not helping" look.
Diana: If threatening to disown me counts as a lecture
Ian and Joliens eyes widen hearing that. Jolien: how can they say that... Ian: *nods* are they really thinking of doing that just because you failed 2 exams?! *says with disbelief and has to keep himself from yelling it out in anger*
Diana half smiles at him as she bites back a laugh before looking at her brother and pokes his nose cutely
Draco: *smiles and chuckle feeling relief that his older sister is feeling better* what was that for? as for Ian and Jolien they smile as well for the same reason as Draco.
Diana gives a small smiles and strugs before reaching her arms out to him
Draco: *chuckles and smiles* what you want a hug now? *asks teasing and joking with one hand on his hip*
Diana: Please *lets out a whisper as her eyes tear up once more*
That's when Jolien and Hermione's older brother, Conner appears with his and Ian's results on the same 2 exams
