Chapter 24: And so it Begins

Getting up out of her seat, Dinah says I don't know what your and whatever you think you know, drop it, it is none of your business. Before she tries to leave, Rose blocks her way and says, if you think I am going to let you walk out without a good explanation, then your damn wrong. My father lost a brother that night, which would have been my Uncle, but I will never get to meet him nor my cousins because they are gone. The thing I do know is the man I am falling in love with blames himself and then he showed me something, a picture of a girl who he use to have a crush on, who also is suppose to be dead but low and behold, she is going by the name Dinah, when it's really Amber.

Pushing her backwards until she drops into the chair, Rose continue her little speech, I believe you owe me a flipping explanation because believe me, we can be here all day or I can bring my bodyguards help me, Niko sister is a close friend of mine and Terry can be a little bit of a... wait did you say Terry, Dinah cut Rose off. Listen, I will tell you what happen that night but you can't let Terry see me, am not suppose to be in Italy. What? Rose says, I don't understand, what do you mean by that?

I was wild in school and I always get what I want, whether it was popularity, guys, friends, good grades, it always come to me like peanut butter and jelly. Then I met Terry, he was one of the cool guys with a bad reputation and one day he invited me to hang out saying that Antonio and his crew were throwing this get together. Anyway, I got dress and went there with the intention to hook up with Terry because Antonio was cute but he was still younger than me. When I get there, Terry hanged out with his boys, after that he told me to get to know Antonio a little better, I was mad but I went with it. Hours later, the boys were drunk to the point that they pass out and not long after gun shots went off.

I was so scared that when Antonio ran out the room, I followed and was meant with a little girl name Lora. She was so cute, so I pick her up and ran out of there, only for the plan to blow up. I took Lora and went to find Terry, he was at his Dad's little hideout. That's when I over heard him telling his father about how he plan to take out the Don which was your Uncle and his family. Samuel got stuck in Mexico, so he was spare and thankfully the boys went back to the pool house where they were spared from the bomb.

I was just a distraction because even though Antonio was young, he was wise and very mature. As we use to say, he was a grown man in a sixteen year old body but he was observant. When Ii tried to leave, I tip over a bucket causing Terry them to see me, he was piss and try to choke me until he saw Lora. That's when he burst out laughing, Nicholas now Lora, it looks like we hit the jack pot boys, take her to the same room as her brother, he says. Her brother? I asked and he said to keep my mouth shut and the paid me to leave the country. Luckily, before I got to the Airport, a woman by the name of Fiona help me so that I won't have to leave. She paid a woman who was being hunted by her abusive ex fiancé to take my identity and leave, then she gave me a new identity, Dinah finishes her story.

So, what your saying is, my cousins is still alive and well? asks Rose in shock. Yes, your mother actually kept tabs on them. She actually watch over them, because Terry's father use to bring them to work when Samuel had meetings, answers Dinah making Rose jump up, are you trying to say Terry's dad is work for my father and pretended to be Nicholas and Lora's dad, how? Nicholas suffered a concussion that cause him to forget who he was entirely and Lora was too young, she was around one or two. They go by the name, Nico and Blair and I heard they are back in the Bartolomeo Mansion, so everything is good and Amber no longer exists because to everyone, she is dead and to Terry them, she is somewhere out of this country, living it up.

Rose is frozen in her place listening to Dinah, Nico and Blair is her cousins, that means the man who Blair thinks is dead is really alive and is the Terry's father. I need to leave, I have to proceed with my plan, Rose says. Wait, Dinah shouts, if you are going after Terry, you needs some serious man power and a great plan bring that bastard of his father down. So count me in, where are we going? ask Dinah who walk out of the school with Rose. To see an old friend of mine, she is a bit of dead to people too because I help her out, so you can say am just like my mom, Rose answers with a smile. Mom? Dinah asks and Rose replies, her name was Fiona Appleton causing Dinah to gasp, no way I thought you remind me of someone, not just your looks, the fire in your eyes when you threaten me, your mother had that spark.

It did not take long for Rose to reach the private house, walking inside with Dinah behind her she is greeted by a voice saying, your finally back, what was taking you so long. I had a detour, I had to talk with a woman name Amber/Dinah, replies Rose. Are you ready Sara? Yes, I am, I just had to take a bath after my exercise, I have everything set up and ready to go? Sara says. Am guessing you are apart of this fiasco too? Sara asks with her hand in her side. Yes, I use to be called Amber but Ii go by Dinah. It fits you because Amber makes you sound like a bitch, no offence, says Sara holding up her hands. None taking says Dinah and Rose says, Ladies lets get to work.

Walking in her home, she is greeted by the men leaving to attend the Renaldi's meeting. Hey, dad, have you seen Antonio? Sweetie, he had to do something in Dubai, I know that you have feelings but he is still have to learn... before Samuel could finish, Rose says, Dad, do you blame him for what happen to Uncle and my cousins? Hugging him Rose says, I know that you believe he can't protect me but, Dad, as my mom said, all that glitters isn't gold. Samuel look at his daughter with a confuse expression, then is told that it is time to leave.

Watching her father leave, she turns around to see Terry looking at her. Ready to go, little Rose? he asks. Yea, I ask Blair to accompany me earlier when I heard we were leaving, so I will grab her.  Alright, little Rosy, he says drinking a glass of scotch. As they left, Rose looks out the car window to see Dinah and Sara following them, and so it begins, Rose mumbles.
