jinyoung couldn't help but notice that fact that yumi had been looking past him as opposed to at him as they talked. so he finally turned around to see what- or who- she was starting at.

"hey, don't be so obvious," yumi whisper-yelled, grabbing jinyoung's shoulder to make him turn around.

"i'm the obvious one? i'm not the one who's been staring at her for the past 15 minutes straight."

"she's so pretty," yumi sighed, resting her chin on her hand so she could comfortably continue staring at the girl.

"go get her number." to jinyoung's surprise, yumi actually got up and walked over to the girl she had been staring.

"i hope i'm not bothering you, i just wanted to tell you that you're really pretty," yumi told the girl. she recieved a blush and a bright smile which she took as a good sign.

"thank you. you're so pretty. i wish i was as tall as you." yumi was surprised at the comment about her height. usually, people would just tell her she was too tall and wouldn't be able to find a boyfriend (it usually came from guys after she rejected them, oddly enough).

"thank you. sorry for bothering you. have a good day." before yumi got back to her and jinyoung's table, the girl stood up and stopped her.

she looked at her shoes before finally looking up at yumi. yumi smiled because the girl could have only been 5'3 at most, which was quite a bit shorter than yumi at 6' even.

"can i have your number? you seem really nice and cool." yumi nodded and they exchanged numbers with blushes on their faces. "oh, i'm bambi, by the way."

"i'm yumi." after saying goodbye, they went back to their seats, both refusing to look at the other so it wasn't weird, even if they both wanted to.

yumi and jinyoung left before bambi and her friend. once they got to jinyoung's car, yumi let herself squeal and jump around. she made sure to stay composed when bambi could see her so she had to let it all out after holding it in.

jinyoung drove yumi home, telling her that she better text the girl soon because he knew she would think about it for possibly hours before actually doing it.

it wasn't until 7 that yumi finally texted bambi a simple 'hello' and 'it's yumi'. and then she deleted that and just said hi because bambi had yumi's number.

she got a reply just a few minutes later and the two were texting for the rest of the night. yumi couldn't stop the smile that appeared on her face everytime she got a text from bambi.

a few selfies were exchanged for the sake of contact pictures but in all honesty, both just wanted to see the other.

bambi said goodnight around 2 in the morning. yumi was a but upset to have to stop taking to bambi but also grateful because she'd been tired for the past few hours.
