You were driving back to the apartment you shared with him after a long, stressful day at work.
You got home and let your things fell down to the floor, attracting Nico's attention to you.
He immediately got up and wrapped you up in one of those warm hugs only he is capable of doing.

-are you tired babe?- he said and you lifted your eyes to meet his blue eyes.

-mmhm- you hummed, pressing your face against his chest

-poor baby- he said caressing your face- how about you take a hot, relaxing bubble bath and I go out to the store, buy ice cream, chocolate and waffles so we can comfortably watch a movie and cuddle? How does that sound?-

You looked up at him again and you could swear your eyes sparkled because of all the love you were feeling right now.

-perfect. It sounds perfect- you said and reunited the strength enough to stand on your tippy toes- I love you. You are paradise, babe-

He smiled at you and kissed you, melting you into his arms.
He carried you up to take you to your shared room and turned on the water.
He added some oils, turned on a candle and added your favorite bathbomb into the water.
You saw the rainbow-colored water and undressed to get inside. He helped you and left a kiss on your forehead before he went out to get the snacks.
A while later, he came back with everything and, when you came out of the bathroom in your pajamas, he was lying there, with a hundred sweets and rose petals everywhere. A sweet candle scented the air and turned the room into a romantic place.
You gasped and he stood up to wrap you into a hug.

-You are amazing- you seed in a whisper

-You are. What i am is the luckiest man in the world for having you by my side, (Y/N)- he said and kissed you.
You kissed him back and he carried you to lie you on the bed as if you were the most fragile thing on earth and it was his duty to take care of you.

You chose together a film on Netflix and started sharing the snacks.

-Feeling better already, babygirl?- he said and you smiled at his attention and the nickname he gave you

-with you by my side, always- you said and lied on his chest even deeper - thank you, Nico- you said after some silence

-You're very welcome baby. As long as i can make you feel better and get to see that smile, I'll do anything- he said caressing your back- I love you, (Y/N)-

You smiled and blushed a little. You were used to hear him say it, but it still made you feel butterflies on your stomach.
