I quivered in his arms

He being the only thing anchoring me to reality as my mind fought to slip into the darkness

My heartbeat thumped loud in my ears as i draw in small shallow breaths

      he whispered incoherent words under his breath as pounding footsteps approached us

I tried tugging away from his embrace to run but he held on tight and stroked my hair

       I buried my face into his chest bracing myself from the dangers speeding our way

His grip around me fell and i could no longer hear the footsteps

       I stepped away from him

I scanned the large Oak trees surrounding us Frozen mid sway

I gasped as my eyes landed on the frozen body's not far from us

      Feeling the burning gaze on my face i raised my eyes to meet his stormy blue ones

" what did you do " i whispered

he shook his head in awe
