"Celeste meet my daughter, Luna."

" Daughter? I didn't know you were pregnant" Celeste spoke, voice laced with hurt

" Ditto, As seeing that that very excitable redhead is no more than a year younger then Luna" Alexandra answered with intent dripping in her words

" Thats readhead is my daughter, Your niece. Her name is Rory and You have no right being upset Alex. You abandoned me. YOUR BABY SISTER! We could have worked through anything! " Celeste said exasperated

So cherry is Rory. Got it.

I took a step back suddenly feeling like I was intruding on a very private moment

Alexandra ripped her sunglasses off showing her icy blue eyes, " THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO. I WAS GOING TO BE SHUNNED. At least running away I could leave on my own terms."

Tears welled up in Celeste's eyes, " You didn't even say goodbye" her voice broke and her anger quickly turned into sadness

Alexandra shook her head softly, " Celeste, I love you more than you know. We both know I had to go."

Celeste looked away pained and pulled herself together, " Well you are here now. I can only assume why." she said looking at me

" Luna will be 18 in 3 weeks. If she is chosen for light magic she is to be queen."

" So you just came here to steal the throne? and what about my daughter Rory? " Celeste countered

" We both know very well how the royal line works. The eldest is chaired for the queen, for the eldest not able to rule the current queen shall still in place until the Eldest has a daughter that can take her place. Celeste, you knew this was going to temporary. "

" No, I did not. I had no idea you were ever pregnant, If what you say is true then you were... 3 months pregnant when you left? "

Alexandra looked ashamed, " I wanted to tell you but then my birthday happen and- I just had to go"

" This all still has to all be approved by the Elders. So we will see what they have to say about it. You are dismissed"

As Alexandra and i stepped outside of the chambers i collided with a hard body, 2 hands wrapped around my waist to steady me and i gripped the broad shoulders

" Are you alright? I am so so sorry" A smooth voice asked

i looked up, his shaggy sandy blonde hair reached his concerned green eyes

i took a deep breath and took a step back out of his arms, " Yes im okay. Its okay i should have watched were i was going"

" Luna"

i turn my head to see Archer making his way towards me with a sour looking Rory trailing not too far behind

" Hey Lennon, What are you doing here? " Archer and him did the bro hug thing

" Rory, sweetheart, Show me to my room please ? id like to rest" Alexandra spoke

My mother had lived here her whole life, she didn't need to be showed around the house so i knew that there was an ulterior motive but i wasn't sure what it was 

Once they were out of site i turned back to the boys who were talking but turner their attention when i reached them

" I apologize we didnt get to properly meet, Im Lennon Hastings" he said taking my hand, placing a kiss on my knuckles

" Hi, Im Luna Crest" I said slowly drawing my hand back

I glanced at Archer to see his fist balled and the look in his eyes told me he was trying to reach me but i kept the wall up ignoring his attempts

" Crest? I didnt know Celeste had another daughter" Lennon questioned

I shook my head, " Celeste isnt my mother, Alexandra Crest is"

the name sparked recognition in his eyes but he kept his mouth shut and just nodded with a small smile looking me up and down and led the way back to the living area

" So How do y'all know each other?"

I took a seat opposite from the boys and looked to Archer for the answer

" She is my Soul Mate" Archer said possessively, although i was upset at him, my stomach erupted in butterflies and i smiled softly

" Oh. Wow, Congrats man" Lennon said with a surprise voice

" What?"

Our heads all snapped to the voice

Rory stood in the doorway with a unreadable expression

she stormed in and stood between me and the guys, " THATS IS WHAT YOU LEFT TO DO? " she shouted at Archer
