Entwined Souls

Chapter 7

                       Soft light streams through the thin curtains warming my bars arms and I move to roll over but am restrained by a tight grip around my waist

   My eyes shoot open and I freeze

        before I can turn back and look at the culprit I hear him

good morning

               " We fell asleep" I answered out loud

"mhmm," he said still not unwrapping his arms from around me

I let my body relax into him and shifted to get more comfortable, his front was pressed to back and I lied my arm over his that slung over my middle

I said nothing for a while and we listened to the quietness and natural wind gliding by the house

after about an hour I felt my stomach rumble and I can tell he could too due to the rumble that his chest produced, he softly chuckled

" fine, let's get food for you "

I turned and smiled widely at him pushing the cover off us and sliding off the bed

I wait for him at the door and when he reaches me I reach for the handle but he stops my hand and I look up at him questioning him

he wraps his arms around my body and holds me tightly, I immediately bring my arms around his body and let my heart do backflips

" Last night was the first night I was able to sleep completely through the night" he murmured into my hair

and when I thought about it, it was the same exact for me. I didn't have him visit me, not that I minded those much, but I also didn't dream of my mother or the maze

" thank you," he said after a pause

I smiled and shook my head," for what?"

" for just being here," he said giving me one last squeeze then leading us out of the room into the hallway

             I sat outside in the garden while the soft winds flowed through my being, I inhaled the fresh air and watched the beauty of nature in its natural setting

"I was looking for you"

Archer looks a seat next to me and I stayed quiet for a minute

" I met you a week ago maybe," I said softly

he hummed in reply

" In that week, I have been the happiest I have been in a really really long time. It's only been a week and I feel like I have known you my whole life"

he looked at me, " Although Archer Ambrosia and Luna crest have only met each other our souls have been entwined for lifetimes. " his husky voice said softly

I shook my head in disbelief, " And that doesn't absolutely blow your mind?"

I can't wrap my head around everything, I mean magic is real. MAGIC!

" In a way it does, not in the same way it does you probably but to know I have someone in this world that just completes my being, is a perfect mold is incredible. Not only do I have someone like that in this crazy world, " he paused and smiled softly, " but I found her."

I have no idea what the future has in store, however at this moment now I know for a fact I am going to fall in love with Archer and I can only hope it doesn't lead to absolute devastation

I have decided to stay.

I have spent day and night training, Archer helped with some physical training like kick boxing.
He assured me i would not need it but i insisted, I want to be able to defend myself from anything.

Alexandra ran many trails, I am figuring out how to do my spells without using my words but i haven't gotten the hang of some of them

Time is running out and i feel like i cant out run this horrible feeling

I made Alexandra promise if i were to train and stay, she would have to be completely honest about any questions i had.

We only have 2 days left before i am taken to the Coven and i know shit will hit the fan when we get there but i have put to much on the line now

                                I can do this

                           We can do it. Together
