"What do you think of this one?" Videl asked as she came out of the dressing room. She was wearing a green dress that hugged her hips.
"Yea looks good." Mae shrugged.
"Maybe I should have taken Gohan shopping instead." Videl teased.
"I just think you should wear what makes you happy." Mae sighed. "Speaking of Gohan, he seemed surprised that I stopped by."
Videl went back into the changing room, "Well Yea you never come and visit. You are always off training."
"Fair enough." Mae chuckled. "I just wanna be stronger."
Videl came out of the room, "that's always been your ambition. I think I'll go ahead and get this one."
"Cool." Mae said standing up. She waited patiently while Videl made the purchase.
"Did you want to get anything?" Videl asked as they left the dress shop.
"Not from here." Mae said. "I could use a new light jacket. My last one got ripped."
"What happened to it?" Videl asked.
"Got caught in a blast. Jiren wasn't very pleased." Mae laughed.
"It's weird seeing you with an over protective boyfriend." Videl giggled. "You know Erasa and I used to bet on when you would date someone."
"Oh?" Mae asked raising an eyebrow.
"Yea she didn't think there would be anyone good enough for you." Videl said.
"And you?" Mae asked.
"Well I figured if I could get someone as amazing as Gohan then you would find someone too." Videl smiled.
"You and Gohan do make a great couple." Mae said putting her hands behind her head.
"I love him a lot." Videl blushed. "By the way why did you decide to wear your training clothes?"
Mae looked down at her black tank top and pants, "I guess I didn't think about it."
"You are ridiculous." Videl laughed. As they were walking passed an alley a blue orb caught her eye. "What's that?"
"Hmm I don't know. Maybe we should investigate." Mae said grabbing Videl by the wrist. "It has a strange warmth to it." Mae said putting her hand near it.
"It almost looks like a ball of energy." Videl said touching it. Suddenly a bright flash of blue surrounded Mae and Videl and they were transported elsewhere.
"The hell was that?!" Mae blinked. She looked around and saw that she and Videl were in some sort of prison. She went over and touched one of the steel bars. As far as she could tell they were the only ones there.
"Mae look!" Videl said urgently.
"What?" Mae asked walking to the window. When she looked out she saw the earth getting smaller and smaller. "We are on a space ship!"
"We can't be on a space ship!" Videl protested.
"That orb must have transported us here." Mae said rubbing her chin.
"Mae what are we gonna do?" Videl started to panic, "what if I never see Gohan or Pan again?!"
"Videl calm down. I'm not gonna let you die out here." Mae said putting her hands on Videl's shoulders.
Videl took two deep breaths. "Okay can you get us out of here?" She pointed at the bars.
"I can try." Mae said cracking her knuckles. She grabbed two of the bars and pulled them apart with ease. There was a wide enough gap and she and Videl could slip through. "Alright let's go find whoever is in charge and make them take us home."
"Can't we just call Goku and have him use his instant transmission?" Videl asked.
"How? I don't have any way to call him. Besides we don't need him." Mae smirked.
"Fine but let's be smart and sneak our way through." Videl whispered. They softly ran down the white hallway and came to a steel door. "I think it needs a code."
"I've got this." Mae said putting her fingers in the small gap and pried the door open. Sparks shot out around them as she forced it open. Suddenly alarms started going off. "Well sneaking isn't gonna work anymore."
"Mae run!" Videl snapped as some snake like aliens came around the corner.
"The humans have escaped!" One of the snake-men shouted.
"Fire at them!" Another shouted. They pointed their blasters at Mae and Videl and opened fired.
"Shit!" Mae swore as they avoided the attacks. "Videl give me your hand!" She yelled. As soon as Videl took her hand she pulled them both forward down the hall.
"Mae where are you going?!" Videl asked as she lifted herself into the air to make it easier for Mae to pull her.
"I don't know." Mae laughed. More blasts came at them and Mae sent her own energy to cover for them.
"They are headed to the bridge!" One of the snake-men yelled.
"Good we are on the right path." Mae grinned.
"You are going to get us killed!" Videl snapped.
"Don't be silly." Mae smirked as she ran right into a snake-man. He had to be at least six to seven feet tall.
"I've got you!" He hissed as he tried to grab Mae.
"No you don't!" Videl yelled as she kicked him, knocking him down. "Let's go!"
"Nice kick!" Mae said as Videl started to pull her along.
"Thanks!" Videl smiled as she came up to a door. "This must be the bridge. Open it."
"Sure." Mae said holding her hand out. "Big Bang Attack!" The doors were blasted in revealing the captain and about eight guards.
The captain came forward and the guards surrounded Mae and Videl. "How is it that a human managed to break free?"
"I'm not entirely human." Mae said putting her hands on her hips. "I'm half saiyan."
The captain started to laugh, "the saiyans were all wiped out." He slithered forward, "what are you really?"
"Videl get behind me." Mae said putting her hand out. "And stay close."
"We have you surrounded." The captain smirked.
"You saw what I did to your ship right?" Mae raised an eyebrow. "Take us home and I won't make it worse."
"You are in no position to be making demands." The captain said. "Men take aim." He slithered away. "Fire at will."
Mae powered up to super saiyan and used her energy to launch the snake men backwards while protecting Videl. As the men started to get back up Mae shot forward to the captain. He shot at her with his own pistol and missed hitting one of the reactors behind them. Quickly she jumped up and kicked him knocking him unconscious.
"If you don't want to see your captain dead I recommend you take us home." Mae said as she held an energy ball above him.
"We can't! This ship is about to blow. When he hit the reactor it started a chain reaction." One of the snake men said as they started to scurry away.
"Now what?!" Videl asked as an explosion went off causing the ship to lurch forward.
"Okay um shit I don't know Videl!" Mae said looking around.
"Call Goku!" Videl begged.
"With what?!" Mae snapped.
Another explosion went off sending them flying into a wall. "There has to be something!" Videl said as she got up. She spotted a red and black button on the floor. "What's this?"
Mae grabbed it from her. "It's my button to get me to universe eleven." As the realization hit her she opened her eyes wide. "I can get us home! Grab hold!" She held her hand out and Videl grabbed hold.
"How can you forget that you have that?!" Videl asked as more explosions went off.
"I dunno!" Mae said as she pressed the button bringing them to universe eleven.
"Where are we now?" Videl asked as more blasts went off around them.
"I'm not sure." Mae said bracing herself.
"Mae! What are you doing here?!" Jiren asked as he blocked an attack.
"Videl and I were in a situation." Mae started to explain.
"Well you are in a new one now!" Jiren snapped. "Take her home!"
"Do you need help?" Mae asked.
"I think we should go." Videl said as dirt showered them from an explosion.
"Okay fine." Mae said pushing the button. This time they arrived back at Capsule Corp.
"Mae! Videl!" Gohan called to them as he came running up. "Where did you guys go?!"
Mae and Videl exchanged a look. "Shopping." Mae shrugged.
"I felt your energies leaving the earth." Gohan said crossing his arms.
"We heard about a sale." Videl laughed.
"Why do you look like you've been in a fight?!" Gohan pressed for more answers.
"Sometimes those sales get serious." Mae said.
"You don't even have any bags!" Gohan exclaimed.
"Ah damn we must have left them!" Videl sighed. "I had some good items too."
Before Gohan could say anything Jiren appeared. "Mae next time you show up give me a call so I can tell you when I'm in the middle of a fight."
Videl and Mae looked at each other and started laughing. "What's so funny?!" Gohan asked.
"Don't worry about it dear brother." Mae laughed. "Videl and I had fun today. Let's do this again sometime."
"Sounds good to me!" Videl grinned as she and Mae walked off.
"Mae I want an answer!" Jiren said as he walked to catch up.
"Man you were right he is overprotective!" Mae laughed.
"He's sweet though." Videl said.
"What is happening?" Jiren said taken aback.
"I have no idea." Gohan said standing next to Jiren.
"Look don't worry all you gotta know is that we had a fun day." Mae said.
"Just a girls day out!" Videl smirked leaving the boys standing there, utterly confused.
