You Find Out They Proposed/Were Proposed To

Yusuke

Emiko

Her boyfriend of five years had come to your doorstep the day before and asked for your blessings which you gave, though Yusuke was a little more hesitant to do so.

Your daughter was so excited she couldn't stop jumping from foot to foot as she showed off the ring her boyfriend gave her when he proposed.

You were just as ecstatic about the news and jumped about with her for a moment before bringing her in for a hug.

"I'm so happy for you, Emi." You told her.

"Yeah, but if he breaks your heart, I break his leg." Yusuke said.

You gave him a warning glare as Emiko sweatdropped at her father's protectiveness.

Daisuke

Your son had told you that he was planning on proposing to his girlfriend of five years at some point that week and you were both very supportive of him.

"So, you finally proposed to her?" Yusuke asked.

Daisuke nodded.

"What did she say?" You asked.

"She said 'yes'." Daisuke responded and you immediatly engulfed him in a hug.

"I'm so happy for you!" You told him.

Kurama

Yoshiko's boyfriend of seven years had come to your doorstep about two weeks ago to ask if he could marry her. You guys had given him your blessings and were now patiently awaiting the day your daughter would be proposed to.

"Mum! Dad! Look, look, look!" Yoshiko exclaimed in excitement as she came home one day.

She lifted her left hand to show the sparkling silver engagement ring on her finger and the two of you smiled warmly at her.

"That's wonderful, Yoshi!" You responded with just as much excitement for your daughter as you and Kurama embraced her.

Hiei

"She proposed to you?" Hiei asked your son.

Sora nodded in response.

He had been planning to propose to his girlfriend of six years, but was surprised when she decided to propose to him instead.

"Well, that's unexpected. But, either way, we're happy for you." You said as you gave him a side hug.

Hiei nodded in agreement with a small, but genuine, smile on his face has he placed a hand on his son's shoulder.

Kuwabara

Sota

He was a nervous wreck since he was the one who was going to propose. The two of you along with Yumi gave him many words of encouragement, before he left to his boyfriend of four years' house. 

Two hours later, he returned with a grin on his face and a now fiance at his side.

"Hell yeah! We knew you could do it!" You cheered as you pulled him in for a hug.

"Told you he wouldn't say no." Yumi said just as happily as she nudged him with her elbow.

"Welcome to the family (boyfriend's name)." Kazuma said as he wrapped an arm over his shoulder.

Yumi

You were curious and a little concerned when Yumi called you all to the living room for an important announcement. 

You began to get a little worried when she just stood there not saying a word, before she spun around with a happy grin on her face and held up her left hand.

You, Kazuma and Sota all dropped tour jaws in shock and Sota even rushed over to examine the ring, asking a million times if she was kidding.

You and Kazuma eventually broke out of your shocked stupor and cheered gleefully at the revelation, Sota eventually joining in as the three of you congratulated her.
