Because if you've really decided that it's me you want to be with, there's no turning back. I won't ever let you go again, I will fight with that woman head on. "No worries, I can take care of it. I WILL take care of it. Since I did so much for you, pouring out my feelings to you so honestly, you won't have to ask how I feel anymore, right?" Knock inquired, right to my face.

I stared at his face, then grabbed his hand. Knock looked my hand clasping his, then looked back at me, and I felt a smile spreading over my face.

"You know what? When you waited for me in the rain, I had to act like I didn't care, but it actually damn near broke my heart."

"I'm sorry..." Knock leaned towards me and hugged me, and I hugged him back, clasping his shoulders.

"I'm not angry, but you're certain about this, right?" I asked him, and I felt him rubbing my back too.

"Other than that I'm really handsome, and I'm not adopted by my parents; I've never been more certain of anything in my life." Knock said, his shoulders shaking with laughter. I laughed too, and left his embrace, ruffling his hair.

"I trust you. Settle it with your woman. If you procrastinate, your man will settle for you!"

The situation between Knock and I hadn't really changed much. When I said I would settle things for him if he didn't do it himself, he smiled somewhat awkwardly. I knew he understood that I was serious. Because both of us had already had a meal recently, we decided to see a movie. We share a lot of common interests, including preferred movie genres, so there wouldn't be disagreements when we do things together.

"Let's buy some popcorn." Knock said after we got our tickets.

"You go, I don't feel like it so I'll wait here for you." I said and sat on the couch, casually crossing my arms across my chest. Knock snickered.

"Fine, play it cool, whatever. Then wait for me here, I'll be right back."

With that, he walked over to the concession stand. My eyes never left him, even though I didn't physically go with him. There were a bunch of girls who were also following Knock with their eyes. This annoyed me, the girls looking at him and that tanned idiot had the audacity to smile back at them. Heh, I will let him feel my revenge deeply later for that effrontery.

While Knock was buying popcorn, I saw a woman walk up and start talking to him. She even handed him a phone. Knock smiled and said something, she took back her phone right away and seemed to be retreating with mumbled apologies.  Now he's nonchalantly come back to me with cola and popcorn. When Knock saw the expression on my face, he laughed.
