Soul had no plans of leaving Spike alone, he walked around the city alone for a while as he bought food from several different places in hopes to share it with Spike, Laura and Paul later. Raven was definitely a smart person, he had stored money away for situations where they needed to buy from other cities with different kinds of laws and systems.

Raven wasn't exactly able to help at the time being, however, but Soul had been with him a lot more than Spike lately, so Raven had given his father the same device he'd given Laura and Paul; a way to teleport back to Ravens underground home.

Soul knew the place like the back of his hand, each corridor and secret, each safe and each rooms use. The only thing he didn't know how to use were the computers, but he didn't care. That was Raven's expertise.

With that help by his side, getting money for buying food in this city was easy. Once finding out what type of money they used, he simply got that type of money from Raven's faults and it was a job well done.

Along with the additional sleep, as restless as it was, Sky had been checking in on Lexus' building for a solid two whole days now waiting for Spike to be allowed to leave.

While walking around the city, though, Soul wasn't surprised to see large military and army officials driving around the area. The area of the city that been ruined was completely caged off by large fences already but from what Soul could see no one was entering inside.

"Lexus must be waiting to get in there themselves" Soul thought to himself while heading back to Lexus Headquarters.

Two bags, one in each hand, were dangling beside Soul as he walked through the sliding doors leading into Lexus headquarters and the woman at the reception desk gave him a bright smile, at least not all people here were as emotionless as Kai when it came to Soul.

"You are definitely tough to please" the girl said as she closed the book she was writing into and paid her attention to Soul alone.

"It is my son I'm here for, so it should be tough. Could I deliver this to him?"

The girl thought to herself for a bit before nodding and going for the phone beside her, "I'll ask real quickly, hold on."

Soul stepped back for a bit as he listened in as much as he could. The call was quickly, she asked what Soul wanted to do but whatever the response had been caused the girl to get stiff hesitate on a response.

"U-Understood, sir. I'll let you get back to your meeting."

The phone was boot down, and like a doll, the girl turned her neck towards Soul.

"Sorry sir, it seems they're too busy to have guests at the moment..."

"Then let me go alone, what would I seriously do by myself?"

This made the girl seem even more afraid, her eyes widened as she shook head nice and hard.

"No way, I'd be in so much trouble and I don't need that at the moment!"

Soul gave off a heavy sigh as he stared down at the food in his hands, something still stung at his thoughts but he was smart. Forcing it wouldn't go anyone's way. If he teleported to the floor, well firstly he had no idea what their defences were like towards teleportation, and secondly if he was found they'd think this receptionist help either out of spite or punishment towards Soul.

"It's fine, thank you."

Soul turned away from the receptionist and began to make his way to a sofa laid out for guests when the receptionist stopped him by calling out his name. He turned immediately.

"I could, maybe, be able to find an answer to any questions you had though. It's my job to help."

"I don't have questions, I am looking to make sure my sons okay. It's been well over 24 hours since I saw him taken to those hospitality rooms."

"Then that's a question, I should be able to ask for access to the rooms cameras."

Souls interests were peaked, he stepped closer to the reception desk and peeked over it a little, "Then I'd definitely like that. Thank you."

The receptionist then took a few minutes to call who she called 'the se-crew-rity,' a pun that made Soul cringe at but he just accepted it and smiled. The phone sent left her hand and Soul was called behind the desk to look at the girls computer. With a few clicks, she was looking at one of the feeds from a video camera, it was an empty room with medical beds filling it up.

"This is supposedly the room your son was put in" the girl said.

"But no one is in there."

The girl let off a shrug, "He might've been allowed to leave, so he might be on his way here."

Soul didn't believe that, he simply shook his head and stepped around the desk, "thanks anyway, I'll wait for him a bit longer."

"You're welcome, sir" the girl said, and with another smile she went back to what work she had been doing.

Soul headed to the sofa once again, placing both plastic bags onto the far left cushion and then he got his hand into the inside pocket of his cloak. Simultaneously as sitting down, he pulled the book about Dimensional Creatures from his pocket. Either Lexus hadn't noticed him take it, or they were too distracted to car, but either way Soul decided to take a quick read.

There wasn't much information Soul could go on, he knew already that the Void Encaser was the only means of holding a Mensial, but then Soul hit a part of the book explaining the birth of the Mensial's.

It read that Mensial's simply existed. They weren't born, created, nothing. They already exist in a place between worlds, a void for them and whatever else lives there. To even get a Mensial to one of any worlds out there, one would need access to the Void, and whoever wrote the book had no idea how that was possible which they made clear.

That's when it hit Soul. He had no doubt Lexus was more than they appeared, they were too superior for a bunch of humans, too organized in this kind of regard. Soul hadn't been able to convince himself of his suspicions though, yet this here was enough.

Lexus was simply a scapegoat, a pawn. They had to be. Whoever Lexus worked for, they gave them the Void Encaser. Lexus can't enter the void, at least Soul hoped not, it would be unnatural of them as humans, but whoever was in control of their actions probably could.

"I have to try..." Soul said.

He took a look at the receptionist who was busy typing on her computer, minding her own business with a stern look on her face. Innocent, in this situation at least.

"Even is it means sacrifices..."

Soul left the plastic bags on the sofa, tucked the book into his cloak and then began walking for the front doors. They opened for him once he reached them, and once outside Soul stopped, turned, then looked up at the tall buildings front.

His right hand stretched towards the ground beside him, Soul kept his eye on the fifth floor specifically.

His hand then clenched into a fist, and he vanished.
