The fifth floor was nothing but hallways in Lexus Headquarters. Soul had appeared at the end of one of those long and twisted hallways after teleporting from the ground outside the building.
Immediately upon becoming aware of his surroundings and only a few seconds after materializing in place, the building had alarms blaring through the speakers and the walls turned red as if lights, which weren't around, had shined upon them.
Soul made a run for it as fast as he could while simultaneously twisting both his hands one after another, gestures towards manipulating the air that flowed past him. With this he opened each door he went past seconds before becoming aligned with them so he could check inside quickly without stopping. Older than Spike, he was more adapt in how to use the element of wind making it a simple manner to turn doorknobs and push doors open.
The alarms kept going but, while incredibly loud, Soul didn't let them disturb him. He had gone through a dozen doors now, half a hallway. It wasn't long until he took a sharp right and was ready to continue down the other half of the hallway that he stopped at the sight of three sturdy looking men in tight blue uniforms. In their hands were metal rods, the size of ones arm and wrapped with barbed wire. Their hands were holding the end of the rod that was thinner than the rest and wrapped in a rubbery fabric while the rest of the rod, along with the attached barbed wire, was sparkling with charged electricity.
"So this is the infamous sa-crew-rity that receptionist spoke of before, or are you perhaps in league with Lexus' secrets?" Soul said as he took his right foot backwards a few inches as to stance himself ready for a fight.
The three men then parted to one of the walls beside them as to make way for Kai who was wearing a forced smile and having his right hand wrapped around the wrist of his left hand which was pressed against his chest, "Yes they're our elite security, and please don't use that stupid term our reception likes to use. They are honestly a bother with how they decide to get a dose of fun but we won't blame them for your misdeeds."
"My son, now!" Soul said, not bothering to waste time.
Kai just stared at the man but Soul wasn't confident, he hadn't fought well in years and even during the days that he was a fighter he would always try to find a better way around the events before him. This scenario was no different, he would rather find a way to avoid a fight both to save time and his energy, but for his son he wasn't going to hesitate if need be.
"You're free to check on him, go on."
Kai turned his back, his right hand loosening so he could snap his fingers. In response, the three men walked with Kai, rushing past him and disappearing from sight. During this, Soul kept his ground even tho hesitance was filling him.
"Are you that worried? You're a smart man. Surely you know you're not getting out of this building now so come along."
Souls stance dropped and he brought his feet closer, changing his pose to be a bit more casual. He began walking towards Kai, being led out of this hallway and turning to the next one. Kai, however, was correct, and Soul was half-accepting of that when he decided to teleport within these walls. Lexus was given the necessary technology from whoever controlled them, there was no chance that technology didn't include a way to nullify a persons way to exit. Soul was trapped, and even if he tried to leave it could be a defense that kills rather than just negating. For now, Soul had to accept his situation and do what was needed.
They arrived at one of the rooms and Kai stood back, pointing towards it to indicate this was the room Spike had been placed in. Soul almost took the knob without hesitating but when he was almost touching it he stopped and went to step back only to be meet with Kai's hand gripping Soul by the back of his robes collar.
