Chapter 46
After lunch, Chole asked me to ditch my practice for today and I couldn't refuse. She brought me to her boutique to show her new collection. The collection for which I am supposed to walk.
She showed me a sliver shimmer dress.
"This is what you are going to wear. I've still not decided what to do to your hair. But we are going for minimum makeup and smokey eye of course...."She continued her blabbering and I zoned out. I'm glad that she is behaving normally. I know she is crazy and has a big mouth but she is very understanding.
"Bitch you are not listening" she thwacks my head.
"Ouch! What's wrong with people and their habit of slapping my poor head" I complain.
"It's because you zone out"
"Whatever"
"Rebecca!" I turned around when I heard Emily's voice.
"Hey" I grinned when she hugged me.
"How come you are here""Since when did you two became best buddies" Chole piped.
She pulled apart.
"Hey, Chole" Emily greeted her nevertheless and faced me.
"My boutique is across the street. Exact opposite. I came here as soon as I saw you""So you are spying?" Chole piped again.
"I was just looking"
"Whatever"
"Can't you be formal or at least ignore"
"Bitch this is my boutique. I can kick you out if I want" Chole's lips stretched into a big fake smile.
"Okay enough" I interrupted.
"Anyway Rebecca, you are done packing," Emily asked me.
"For what?"
"Remember you agreed to come with us to Australia?"
"Ohh. I spoke to Alex. I'm actually busy. I'll be there after they are done with their matches. Sorry"
"Oh. It is okay. I'll leave now. I am busy right now. If you are free you can visit my boutique. I'll show you my collection" she suggests.
"No thanks we are busy" Chole interjected pulling me away into another section"
I helplessly waved bye at her with an apologetic smile.
she bade me goodbye with a chuckle."You were not even invited in the first place" Chole shouts when she got near the door.
She gave the middle finger over her shoulder and left."You so bitch"
She narrowed her eyes.
"Same to you.""Are you sure you don't have any romantic feelings for me. Because you are a female version of Alex"
She slapped my head.
"Don't compare me to your dick. And if I were gay I would still do better"
She winked smirking and my face dropped open.
"You bitch"
My attempt to slap her failed when she ducked her head down. She laughed running away from me."When is he leaving" Chole hissed. I shrugged and glanced at the antic fellow who was touching the dresses, gowns designed by her and which she dared him to even look at.
"Idiot I told you not to touch it!" Chole yells but he just gave her middle finger.
Jake invited himself over when I told him I was at Chole's boutique to remind me that I owe him food. As always Chole was not joyous about his presence.
Jake was purposely getting under her nerves like always.
