something new

changes

it was morning in royal woods, and in the loud house everything was a blur, Lynn had football, Lori had golf, Lucy had poetry, Lola had a pageant, Luan had a stand up show, and Leni had to get to work, Rita was stressed by the amount that had to be done in less than twenty minutes, and Lincoln was trying his best to help

"okay everybody, Lynn, your game is about a five minute jog from here, right"? Rita asked

"yeah" she said

"well, you need to warm up so how about jogging" Rita offered

Lynn didn't answer, instead, she took off out the door, leaving the five other sisters to deal with

"Luan and Lola, you're going to the community center, so get in the van, Leni, you too, Lori and Lucy hang back for a moment

Luan and Leni took to the van leaving only the vampires left, Rita looked at Lucy and Lori for a moment, and sighed, "remember what i told you if you get in trouble in the sky"? she asked

Lori's eyes lit up and Lucy grinned, 

"yes, i'm trusting you to fly there, remember, no exotic birds, and only use a hawk or eagle if you get attacked by something, got it"? she asked sternly

"yes mom" they both said in unison

"oh, and leave through the windows upstairs, and stay relatively close to the ground, I don't want you getting tired and dropping a mile to the ground, understood"?

"yes mom" the replied"

Rita gave each of them a kiss on the forehead, then turned to leave, rushing out the door and into the van,  Lincoln went upstairs to see the girls leave, they left through Lori's window, Lucy first, having chosen a crow, then Lori, having chosen a morning dove, a couple of seconds later, Lori came flying back through the window, "I just saw Ronnie-Anne, I'm pretty sure she's coming here, Lori said, before taking to the sky again, and leaving through the window

Lincoln closed the window, and went downstairs to get ready for her arrival, he wondered how Lori could talk in the form of a bird but decided he'd ask her later, for now, he was either going to have a good time talking to Ronnie or a bad time, no middle ground

as if on cue, there was a knock at the door, "hmm, I wonder who it could be" he said sarcastically, reaching for the door, and pulling it open to reveal Ronnie-Anne, who was now clearly one of them, her skin had become the same tone as his, and when she opened her mouth, he could see her fangs

"okay Lincoln, I believe you," she said, defeated

"You gonna stand out there or are you coming in"? he asked, raising a brow

"I was kinda waiting for an invitation," she said sheepishly

"that's a myth," Lincoln said non-nonchalantly, Ronnie stepped inside, she immediately noticed that no-one else was home, "where is everyone," she asked

"you didn't see them leave"? he asked quizzically

"no, I was kinda just watching my shoes, I do that whenever I'm walking" she admitted

"well, my mom just finished getting out the door with six of them, and my dad's out with the other four at the park, so its just me and you here, do you want anything"  he asked

"comida, por favor" she replied, Lincoln stared at her for a moment, unsure of how to reply

"food, please" she said, Lincoln nodded and went to the kitchen, jeez, she'd have to give him a crash course on Spanish at some point, and he could give her a crash course on vampires, although, she got the feeling that he'd have as hard a time understanding her lessons as she would understanding vampire lessons, she was lost in thought until a smell wafted past her nose, it smelt good, she got up and walked to the kitchen, inside, Lincoln was frying eggs and bacon, and he had a board with strange markings on the corners, and had the alphabet written on it in some pretty damn fancy letters
