Lincoln was sitting on his bed, wracked with nerves, he had caught a glimpse of Leni (who had obviously been trying to hide) when he was on his date with ronnie anne, and she never spied on anyone unless she was bribed, she may have been ditsy, but she had morals, morals that were thrown out the window the moment someone offered to model a dress for her, his clock ticked in a rhythmical way, as if it were a timebomb ticking until it blew up, the explosion being his sisters questions, he and ronnie had practically run to her house, and, after a quick goodbye kiss, he ran home, and was surprised they weren't there yet

he heard something rustling about, and tried to pinpoint the sound, it was coming from the vents, a faint fluttering sound, he reached up, and pulled the cover open, every one of them were left unscrewed except for the ones near the floor, they used them quite often to move around in secrecy, but they didn't want lily getting into any of them and falling down a shaft, he pulled himself up into the vent, and listened, he heard his own breathing, and the squeaking of a small animal, probably something of Lanas, he crawled onward, seeking out the sound, left and right, the vents echo was not helping he came to a dead end above Lori and Leni's room, where he saw it, a fairly large, yet young bat, crawling around, looking for a way out

"huh, how'd you get in here little dude" he said, gently scooping the bat into his hands, and holding it againt his chest as he crawled back to his own room, inside, he took a lego box of his dresser, and placed it inside, closing it, he set it back on his dresser, it was an old box with ripped corners, which would provide insulation for it while he got something better, he went to the hallway, and pullde down the attic ladder, lana had plenty of animals in the past, one of their cages would work nicely, he looked around, chicken wire, an old dog crate from when they were housbreaking charles, el diablose old basking branch, which wasreally large, but not big enough for him anymore, and a few of walts old feeding baskets, which would hang nicely on a cage, and some old sheets of plywood, of which he couldnt figure the origins, he went back to his room and looked around, there wasnt enough space in here for what he was planning, he needed more space, he went down to see his mom, who was laying in her bed, reading an article about how low the average anti-vaxxers I.Q level is

"hey mom"

she looked up from the screen, and replied "yes"

"I was wondering if I wanted more space to stay in, could I move into the basement"

"well, how would everyone get into the laundry room" she asked

"Oh, didn't think about that, what about the attic, I could move the stuff to the basement" he offered

"well, that would give your father the incentive he needs to put together those shelves he bought, I say go for it, just get everything up there ready first, and call me to check it when you're done, okay" she agreed

"okay" he said as he took off back to the attic, where he needed to pack up some stuff, photos, he could put into some albums, and put them neatly away, there was a bunch of stuff already in boxes, those could be put away without hassle, and there was some stuff that he could leave up there, Lori's old vanity, he may be a guy, but at least he'd know what he looks like before everyone made fun of him, and it doubled as a dresser too, so he could use his old one for other stuff, like books, or his lego, stuff like that, besides that, everything wasn't staying was put away into the boxes and ready to be carried down, he poked his head out of the attic, and yelled down the stairs

"mom, I'm readdy" he shouted

"coming" she said as she put her phone in her pocket, and came up the stairs, she climbed the ladder, and poked her head up "looks good, but you forgot some stuff" she said, gesturing towards the pet supplies, and vanity
