Daniel and I finally found the courage to visit kits mother, she welcomed us and I think seeing me brought back memories of her only kid cause she broke down and I with her.
We talked and asked for her forgiveness. She said there's nothing to forgive cause she understands what love can do to a person. She didn't seem bitter but I could feel how deep her wounds ran. Was it selfish of kit to try and save my brother that lead him to his death?
That I don't know but there is no changing the past, only looking forward to the future, a future were hopefully we are free of hurt, regrets and this overwhelming guilt.
