Jack Skellington
You and Jack were hanging out in St. Patrick's Day Town, sitting in a field of jade green clovers. There was a light breeze out, so it was a beautiful day outside. "So, Dad, what do you want to-" you stopped talking as you realized your father wasn't next to you. You bolted up on your feet and looked around, only to see endless green. "Dad?! Dad, where are you?!" you called, growing more and more nervous.
You ran around calling for Jack, until you felt yourself being swept up into someone's arms. You had only a split second to react before you were sat down on the back of a black skeletal horse....except, the horse had a human torso and head. You'd read about centaurs in the library, but you always dismissed them as myths. But now, you were sitting on the back of one that looked strangely familiar. You recognized who it was. "D-Dad?!" you exclaimed.
Jack turned to you, smiling. "Surprised, Y/N?" he asked, chuckling. You nodded. "Why didn't you tell me, Dad?" you asked. "I didn't know how to." Jack replied. "But enough about that! How about we go for a run?" Jack asked, smiling wider than ever.
Your eyes brightened up at the idea. "Okay!" you said. Jack got ready, his hooves tapping eagerly on the grass. "Hold on, Y/N! This might get bumpy!" he warned. You laughed. "Don't worry, Dad! Hyah!"
With that, Jack took off across the clover sprinkled hills, and into the setting sun.
Edward Scissorhands
You were sad. You told Edward you needed some father-son/daughter time, so he took you to the beach, where you both sat down on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Things were quiet except for the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. "Daddy?" you asked. Edward turned to you, smiling. "Yes, Snowflake?" he asked.
"Can you sing me a song?" you asked shyly. Edward put an arm around your shoulder. "Of course, Y/N." he replied. Once he started singing, however, you felt yourself slipping into a trance. Edward's singing voice was beautiful and haunting, as if it was coming from the sea itself. Your E/C eyes drooped as you lost yourself in the melody, finally falling asleep.
What you weren't prepared for was the long drop and the sudden shock of cold ocean water. Your eyes shot open and you eventually struggled to the surface. "D-DADDY HELP!" you screamed before a wave pushed you back under. You heard a distant splash, and looked up to see something that looked like a human, but something just wasn't right. Right as the realization hit you, you closed your eyes, and welcomed death with open arms. Later, you awakened to find yourself lying in a small tide pool, the morning sun warm on your face.
"H-How did I get here?" you asked yourself. Suddenly, your heart seemed to stop. "W-WHERE'S DADDY?!" you screamed aloud. "I'm right here, Y/N..." you heard your father say not too far away from you. You looked around, and your eyes soon met his. Edward was sitting on a rock, his chocolate brown eyes seeming to stare into your very being.
"D-Daddy....what happened?" you asked. Suddenly, your E/C eyes widened as you saw something that amazed you beyond your wildest dreams. Edward's legs were replaced by a long, sleek, black tail with silver fins that seemed sharp as razor blades. The sunlight reflected off the scales, making them sparkle. "D...Daddy..." you whispered, amazed. "Honestly, Y/N...this is the second time I've had to save you already..." Edward said, slipping off the rock and sitting next to you in the tide pool.
"I know, Daddy...It's just that-" you froze, the words getting caught in your throat. "S-Second...time...?" you choked out. You locked eyes with your father. "B-But....you told me a dolphin saved me...You lied to me, Daddy...?" you whispered, trying to make sense of what he'd just said. Edward looked down guiltily.
"I'm sorry, Y/N...You just weren't ready to know yet." Your eyes narrowed. "I could've been all right with it, Daddy! Why didn't you tell me the truth?!" you said, your voice rising a bit. "You can't handle the truth, Y/N Scissorhands!" Edward snapped. Your eyes widened in hurt and surprise. You father rarely yelled at you, let alone raised his voice.
Edward soon realized his mistake. "Snowflake...I'm so sorry...." You rubbed your eyes, feeling them well up with tears. "I just...don't get it....Why didn't you tell me you were a Merman...?" you whispered. "A Siren, to be more specific. Mermaids and Sirens are two different species." Edward replied. "C...Can I touch your fin, Daddy?" you asked, shyly.
"Of course, Y/N!" he replied. You ran your hand along the scales, amazed at how smooth they were. "Want me to take you for a swim, Y/N?" Edward asked. Your hand froze. "B-But Daddy...I can't swim, remember?" you said, nervously. Edward smiled.
"Don't worry, Snowflake. It's going to be okay. I'll help you out!" he reassured you. You hesitantly held onto him, and he jumped out of the tide pool and into the ocean, keeping your head above the water. You were enchanted at how smoothly he cut through the water. Eventually, you both stopped after a while, and Edward held on to you while you tried swimming, which got easier and easier until you were sure you could swim circles around your father any day.
Beetlejuice
"Hey, Y/N! Catch me if you can, Bucko/Toots!" you heard as a black, white, and red blur zipped past you. "PAPA?! Is that you?!" you yelled, seeing the pointed, crimson wings sprouting out of your father's back. "What, didn't know I was part demon?" he asked, landing in front of you. You shook your head. "Although, it is pretty cool!" you said enthusiastically.
"Cool horns too!" Beetlejuice smiled, tapping the black and white striped horns on his head that curved in the back. "Yep! C'mon, Y/N! Let's go for a fly!" Before you had time to react, you were swept off your feet and into the air. You and your father spent the entire day flying around the Neitherworld.
Sweeney Todd
"Father...are you okay? You look a bit tired." you said softly, putting your hand on Sweeney's shoulder. He did look pretty bad. He had dark circles under his eyes, and his hair had several white streaks instead of one in it. "It's all right, my Son/Dear..." he whispered, ruffling your hair. "Are you sure? You might be coming down with something! I'm really concerned, Father...What's happen-" You barely had finished your sentence before you saw your father burst into flames in front of your eyes.
"FATHER!!!" you screamed, tears forming in your eyes. In a few moments, all that was left of Sweeney Todd was a pile of ashes. You picked some up in your shaking hands, letting it slip through your fingers as you sobbed. "H-How did this h-h-happen...?" you whispered, your tears falling on the floor. Suddenly, you saw a shadow descending on you, and you looked up to see your father. He looked younger, happier.
"F-FATHER!!!" you screamed, throwing yourself into his arms, sobbing. "I th-thought I lost you forever..." you whispered through your tears. "How are you alive?" you asked, looking into his bright, ashy brown eyes. Sweeney smiled, and showed you a lock of hair that was a fiery orange-red instead of black. Then, you watched in amazement as he turned into a small, fire colored bird. "Y-You're part phoenix?" you asked, kneeling down.
Sweeney nodded. "Heh, I could get used to this."
