Jack Skellington

You never would have guessed that there was only one candy that the Pumpkin King didn't like. You found out on the 1st of December, while you two had just finished making gingerbread cookies. "Dad?" you asked, biting into the piping hot cookie. "Yes, Y/N?" Jack replied. "Why do you only eat the head, arms, and legs of gingerbread cookies?" Jack thought for a moment, then said, "It's because of the buttons."

You lifted an eyebrow in confusion. "What do you mean?" Jack let out a light chuckle. "Just look at them, Y/N." You glanced at the leftover gingerbread torsos on the little festive plate. As your eyes fell on the red hots that were used as little buttons, you understood.

"Oh, I get it!" you said with a grin. "If you told me you didn't like red hots, you could've said!" Jack smiled. "Ok, Y/N." From that moment on, M&Ms were used as the buttons instead of red hots.

Edward Scissorhands

It was a very warm summer afternoon, and the sunshine flooded through the windows and brought light to the dark and gloomy castle you called home. Unfortunately, it was also very dusty in there. So one day, you decided to do some cleaning. You switched on your favorite Disney tunes, grabbed a broom, and started sweeping like there was no tomorrow. Edward came downstairs after a few minutes, and was surprised to see you having fun with chores. "Y/N, you need help there?" he asked with a little smile.

You smiled back with a gleam in your E/C eyes. "No thanks, Daddy!" you replied as you swept the floor, kicking up a large cloud of dust. "Ok, well just tell me if-"

The small sound echoed around the house for a moment before you spoke again. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwww!~" you said, dropping the broom and pressing your hands to your cheeks like a flustered schoolboy/girl. There was nothing Edward could do to hide the blush on his cheeks.

Beetlejuice

You were reading your Handbook For The Recently Deceased in your room when you heard a high pitched shriek coming from outside. You shut the book, walked outside, and were surprised to find Beetlejuice standing stiff as a board, with bumblebees buzzing around him. "Papa?" you asked. "Shh! I'm t-trying to stay calm, Bucko/Toots!" your father returned, clenching his fists at his sides. You casually walked over and let a single bumblebee crawl onto your finger, where you let it fly off into a nearby bush. The rest of them followed.

Beetlejuice let out a sigh of relief. "Thanks, Y/N." he said, patting you on the head. You smirked. "Don't mention it, Papa. You never told me you didn't like bees." "Well, I don't." Beetlejuice huffed, walking back to the house. You laughed a bit.

"Ok, so we'll never speak of this again?" Your father gave you a smirk. "Yeah. Never again."

Sweeney Todd

You were enjoying a quiet Sunday afternoon when you heard music coming from upstairs. As you got closer, you could make out the lyrics of the song, and your father singing along.

As soon as the song was finished, you couldn't hold back the outbursts of laughter that made you bend over holding your stomach. Sweeney turned around, his face crimson with embarrassment. "Could you blame me, Y/N?! The title of this song is almost like a warning that it's LITERAL ear candy!" Sweeney shut off the radio and looked you dead in the eyes. "Never tell anyone about this, ok Son/Dear?" You wiped a few tears from your eyes, the laughs finally subsiding. "Yeah, Ok Father!"
