Requested once again by Lunasome! Special guest appearance by everyone's favorite Radio Demon!
~Three days after part 1~
"Luna, you can't just expect me to believe that it wasn't all a dream, Dear." Luna's boyfriend, Alastor said from outside her bedroom door as he tossed Luna her favorite black and white vertically striped jacket. "I know it sounds a little crazy, but it all happened!" Luna replied, putting her jacket on over a red shirt which paired nicely with her black pants and white boots. Alastor smiled as Luna walked out of her room. "So, how do I look, Babe?" she asked. "Absolutely dapper, my Darling." Alastor replied, tucking a stray lock of black and white hair behind her ear. "So, you ready to go?" Luna asked, running back into her room and booting up Wattpad on her computer.
Alastor sighed. "Ok, but only because it'll make you happy." Luna clicked on the same chapter as before, and waited. "C'mon guys, I'm ready!" she whispered, shivering with anticipation. Alastor sat back next to her and stared at the screen. "Darling, I'm still convinced that it was only just a-"
His sentence was cut off as the both of them were pulled into the screen. They were falling once again. Alastor held Luna protectively, turning so he would cushion her fall. "Hold on, Luna! I feel like we're in for a rough landing!" he yelled as he sensed the ground rushing up to meet them. Luna pressed her face into Alastor's chest, bracing for the impact. There was a ringing in Alastor's and Luna's ears as their fall came to an abrupt and heavy stop.
The force of the fall had left a crater where they landed. Luna lifted herself up, thankful that she hadn't broken any bones. One glance at her boyfriend told Luna he hadn't been so lucky. "Alastor? Hey, Al! Wake up!" Luna said, gently shaking Alastor by the shoulders. His crimson eyes were closed. There was a small trickle of blood running down his forehead, and his breathing had gone shallow.
"Oh my God....Alastor, NO!" Luna yelled, tears forming in her eyes. "IS ANYONE THERE?!" she yelled, cradling Alastor in her lap. Luna was relieved to hear footfalls coming toward her. "They're over here, guys!" she heard a feminine voice yell. Luna saw someone looking down at them from the edge of the crater. "Guys, hurry up!"
The others quickly appeared at the edge. "Oh no...." Luna recognized Jack's voice. "C'mon everyone! Get them out of there!" Beetlejuice jumped down into the crater and pulled Luna out while the others managed to get Alastor out. Author-Chan's eyes widened.
"A-Alastor!" she gasped, kneeling down beside Luna's unconscious boyfriend. Wiping the thin line of blood from his face, she laid her head down on his chest. After a moment, she looked up at Luna. "He's still alive, thankfully. I'll get him inside. You guys go on ahead. I'll catch up." Beetlejuice, Jack, Edward, And Sweeney nodded, running off to the house. Author-Chan, who wasn't very strong in terms of lifting anything heavier than a moving box packed with clothes, was surprised at how light Alastor was.
It was an almost effortless task to pick him up and carry him to the house, where she laid him down on the couch. She brushed some of his strawberry red hair out of his face and gently pressed a tissue against the small cut on his forehead. The slight touch made Alastor's eyes flutter open. "Wh...What happened...?" he groaned, starting to sit up. Author-Chan gently pushed him back down. "Hey, don't try to get up. You had a nasty fall, and you might have a concussion."
Upon hearing those words, Alastor suddenly became aware of the throbbing pain in his head. "Where's Luna....? Is my Darling safe...?" he asked, wincing in pain. Author-Chan nodded. "She's with Beetlejuice right now. She's okay." Alastor smiled widely. "That's good to hear."
Author-Chan smiled back, obviously charmed by him. "That was very brave, you know. Taking the full force of that fall could have killed you." Alastor chuckled. "Then I suppose Luna and I are very lucky to still be in one piece." A few moments later, Luna ran downstairs. "ALASTOR, YOU'RE OKAY!" she cried, kneeling down next to Alastor and crying into his chest.
Alastor comfortingly stroked Luna's black and white hair as she sobbed. "Don't worry, Dear. I'm okay." he whispered. "I'm happy you two are safe..." a timid voice spoke. Luna and Alastor looked to see Edward standing not too far away. "Oh, it's you." Alastor said, almost sarcastically. There was still a bit of bad blood between Alastor and Edward.
They had literally fought for Author-Chan's heart, for she found herself loving them both. Jealousy had driven Edward nearly mad, and Alastor was a bit overconfident. In the end, Alastor ended up with Luna, and Edward stayed with Author-Chan. "Well, since we're all okay, why don't we watch a movie?" Author-Chan suggested, trying to lighten the mood. Jack smiled as widely as a skeleton could. "That sounds like a great idea!"
Beetlejuice nodded in agreement. "What should we watch?" Sweeney smirked devilishly. "How about something scary?" Author-Chan's smile disappeared. "Oh, heck no! I'm not watching anything scary if it isn't Nightmare on Elm Street, A Quiet Place, Jaws, or The Birds!"
Edward wrapped an arm around Author-Chan's shoulder. "We could watch The Notebook! You loved that one!" Author-Chan's face turned to pure sadness. "D-Don't remind me..." Edward opened his mouth to ask why not, then he remembered why Author-Chan wasn't up for that movie. Mere seconds after the movie ended, Author-Chan had thrown herself onto her bed, and practically drowned in her own tears.
"Ok, we won't watch The Notebook." Author-Chan then let out a loud gasp. "I know just the movie!" Alastor and Luna looked to her in curiosity. Author-Chan picked up the TV remote, and turned on her new favorite movie, Cry-Baby. "Ohhh, you guys are gonna love this!"
Alastor carefully sat up. "What's this movie you've got on the picture show about, Dear?" he asked. Author-Chan smiled, a slight blush on her cheeks. "It's about this good girl named Allison who falls in love with a greaser bad boy named Cry-Baby!" Author-Chan pressed her hands to her cheeks. "And he is SUCH a stud muffin!~ Think Grease crossed with The Outsiders!"
As the movie started, everyone sat down on the various seats in front of the TV. Luna sat with her head resting on Alastor's shoulder. Author-Chan sat next to Edward, her arm wrapped around his. She glanced at Luna and Alastor. They seemed like such a perfect couple. Author-Chan felt the dull but unbearable pain of an aching, lonely heart.
She hated to admit it, but she felt slightly envious of the Radio Demon and his sweetheart. For now, she would put these unwelcome thoughts aside, and watch the movie with her friends.
