You pressed post and watched as your video slowly started to upload, the bar progressing across the top of your social feed. Your heart was racing just thinking about the reaction you'd get, even though majority of the comments were usually positive.
You posted song covers on Instagram as a hobby and this week you sang a cover of Scenery by Taehyung from BTS. It was a beautiful song that you couldn't stop listening to, which was usually the kind of songs you sang on your account.
As soon as the video finished posting, you locked your phone and set it on the nightstand. You didn't want to stay glued to the device and anxiously watch the views pile up and the comments roll in. Instead, you decided to sit down and binge watch one of the many shows on your watch list.

Halfway through the season of your show of choice, you heard faint notification sounds coming from your bedroom. You'd been hearing a small ping every few minutes, but this was almost constant, which piqued your curiosity and had you going to retrieve your phone from your room.

The notifications were popping up so fast you could hardly read them, watching as they filled your screen one at a time. You unlocked your phone and opened up Instagram to see what exactly people were saying.

You found yourself with your mouth hanging open at the comments. At first they were general responses you usually got, then they progressed into people tagging Taehyung and asking him to check out your song cover. As amazing as that would've been, you knew he was far too busy for that and the chances of him watching your video were slim to none, even if you did have a ton of followers.

A few days later, the comment section of your recent post was flooded with responses and your message box was equally as packed. You went to see what new comments had been made overnight, your confusion growing when you read over some that caught your attention immediately.

The sensation of your heart jumping into your throat had your head spinning for a moment. Were you reading that correctly? You furrowed your brows and scrolled through your notifications tab, stopping on one that very clearly read: @thv liked your post.
Your heart rate picked up exponentially just seeing the notification and all you could do was stare at it in disbelief. You went to your DMs to clear some out and respond to those that had reached out. Many of them were praise or sweet words from people who said you inspired them to start posting their own song covers. Your eyes nearly bugged out of your skull when you saw a message from a very familiar account. With a shaky thumb, you tapped on the message and opened it.
